Explosions near finish line of Boston Marathon

I know there is a coffee shop, maybe a Starbucks right in that area of the finish. This is also right near the Boston Public Library.
My prayers are with these poor souls.
 
for those who may know runners in the race you can check their status there. I’m not sure if it will clarify that they are safe or not, but it could help you find out

2 dead and 22 or 23 injured…I’ve seen both reports from local and national outlets.

Hubby and I are watching local stations…

Our theory is either muslim terrorism or a rogue crazy who has internet access
 
The pictures from the scene seem to show lots of blood on the sidewalk and there are reports of limbs lost. The Medical Director of our local hospital was running the marathon but was still a ways from the finish when the blasts went off. He is fine and didn’t see anything.

A federal law-enforcement source confirmed to The Post there are at least 12 dead and nearly 50 injured. Fox News reported that Massachusetts General Hospital was treating 10 people with amputated limbs and all operating rooms were on hold.

God willing the people who are injured get out ok. For those who have passed away lets say a prayers for their families and their souls.

Guys please lets not start pointing fingers. Yes were going to be thinking alqueda, muslim extremists, wacko americans, lets just keep our torches down and pray for those affected. With time things will get straighten out
 
They found a 4th device. NY LA. SF among other cities are on alert. Unreal intentionally targeting innocent people and in the streets of America. Bold I’ll tell you.

Library people (via NBC affiliate here) are saying this particular incident may be due to electrical problems. In other words, it may be unrelated.

The reason why I posted it was because the Commissioner and the Governor did a news conference live and they did report that this was an explosion.

Local news programs were reporting it…or getting tips that is was an electrical fire.

Apparently the commissioner thinks otherwise. The news programs started changing their stories immediately after this happened.

Yeah, I know, but news was saying they had independently gotten info from the library. Apparently the commissioner was speculating or something. I don’t know, it may be related, but I’m just saying it’s probably safer to give the electrical scenario some credence too.

Yes- I heard the Commissioner say that during the conference, on Fox News, as well. There is definitely conflicting information.

Hi. I’m 60 miles from Boston.

They just showed a cell phone video of the explosion at the JFK Library. Definitely a bomb
