Explosions near finish line of Boston Marathon

Notice how quick the Media had all the facts following Sandy Hook. Heck, it wasn’t even 24 hours later and the case was closed on Sandy Hook and the political narrative was already being set in stone.

It is hard not to be cynical and mistrusting of the current rotten Government we have in power. After all, we do have a Government in power that is okay with state sanctioned Murder (abortion).

No, given the history of this current Government, I will take all the “official” reports from the “authorities” with a big grain of salt regarding this latest bit of Satanic activity in Boston.

St. Patrick and St. Michael the Archangel, we pray that you will intercede on behalf of the victims and expose and bring speedy Justice to those responsible. Amen.

I was wondering how long it would take for this thread to become politicized. 71 posts. This is why I rarely post here anymore. Three people dead, many injured and people start talking about the political ramifications of a tragedy. Sorry Hans, I’m sure you’re a good guy and all, but how cynical has our country become that we jump straight into politics after something like this…
 
A lot of misplaced emotions I guess…was thinking maybe we can campaign to release yellow balloons on the day of morning or funerals…
 
The emotions will increase.

The 8-yo who perished is Richard Martin, who just made First Holy Communion. Injured elevated to 143 overnight, 10-amputations.
 
How abou people just avoid the politics for a little while and just pray
 
What confuses me is why commit a terrorist act and then keep quit about what ticks you off. Its like an exclamation point without a sentence,totally meaningless! The terrorists are not only evil,they are also morons.
I just hope the Boston massacre will not be used to further decrease our rights. However, I suppose that without a right to a trial all our other rights are meaningless anyway.

Because it’s more important to some people that a thing like this is fits their own preconceived ideas of who is “good” and who is “bad” in the world. People want the culprit to be part of their “bad” group so that they are further convinced that they are part of the “good” group. It’s an instinct we have to separate ourselves into tribes.

I’m praying for everyone affected by yesterday’s events-even the perpetrators. To have reached a point in your life where doing something like this is conceivable to you-I can’t imagine what goes on in your mind.

The little boy is in heaven.

The person who would have labelled him a terrorist on behalf of the US Defence Department is still in his job.

What now from the Democratic Party? A campaign to ban ball bearings?

I love the hypocrisy. When CNN politicizes the event to millions of viewers to assume it’s a Muslim terrorist or a right wing extremist, that’s perfectly acceptable to some of you because it aligns with your worldview. No outrage there. When a few anonymous CA posters ponitficate how the event will increase govt control into our lives, we are made to feel like we should go to confession for merely opening our minds. It’s not so shocking when you look at how history’s atheist leaders killed millions of people to force conformity.
 
I definitely just grieve with the families who lost loved ones, thankfully there were not more fatalities and am saddened for those who were maimed at this event, I believe I hear it was a shrapnel bomb meant to cause damage and as of now, we don’t know who did it and won’t have any good ideas unless they make some arrests. So I don’t think it should be politicized in this immediate aftermath.
 
Well, if someone calls in to claim that pure evil that’s just a plus that makes the work easier. Whoever it is will be known at some point.

Downtown Boston, never would have guessed that one. That’s a resilient group their though.

I have no idea how that plays out with BB control in Mass. 😉
 
And families from Sandy Hook of all things were in the stands at the Marathon.

No one expects any better from a for profit media source. It is quite different with posters on a Catholic forum. I guess those who quickly politicized this follow Rahm Emanuel’s philosophy when it comes to a crisis.

The official identified the man as a Saudi national. The man, like many at the time of the explosions, was observed running from the scene and sought medical treatment.The law enforcement official has been briefed on the matter but is not authorized to comment publicly on the case.

Still no claim of responsibility. I saw one terrorism expert (I never trust that term) theorize that this may have been a trial run.

Normally, prior to a big event, the police collect and remove trash cans and any other sort of receptacle that could be used to hide an explosive device and they circulate both in uniform and in plain clothes.

So … makes ya wonder … is all.
