Hey everyone,
My wedding is 45 days away (yay!) and as it approaches I find myself becoming more and more paranoid and anxious. It’s not that I doubt marrying my FH in anyway, but for some reason the littlest things make me start crying, I’ve had three panic attacks in the past week, and my psychiatrist is considering upping my anxiety meds.
Sunday was the worst, I was over at a friend’s house and everyone started yelling (they weren’t mad, just excited about a board game), and it made me anxious, so I stepped out of the room to go have a glass of water and clear my head, but my friend’s younger sister came in, and thinking it was funny, jumped from behind the wall to scare me. She’s 12, I know she didn’t realize I was having anxiety issues, but I ended up huddled in a corner crying and freaking out. I’ve since made sure that she knows I’m not upset with her (she thought I was going to throw her out of my wedding), but I’m worried about how bad it’s gotten. Everyone thinks I should be so happy, and I am, but I’m also tired, stressed out, paranoid, anxious, and I feel like the days until the wedding are slipping through my fingers, and I am not getting everything done. It doesn’t help that since I’m going on vacation after the wedding, my boss has scheduled me for two 6 day conferences in August, where I’ll be out of town and unable to work on wedding stuff.
Sorry, I’m ranting, I’m just trying to find out, is this normal? Like, to get this stressed out? I can’t even keep my mind clear for my rosary anymore.
Thanks for your help!
Amanda
