Years ago, i saw a magazine photograph of a wildcat sitting on a large rock, with a look of total composure on its face. The photographer explained that surrounding the rock was a pack of barking and snarling dogs, unable to get at their intended prey.
May Archbishop Lepine imitate the wildcat.

The Churchs enemies dont like it; so let `em lump it!

Scripture says:
…behold, today I have made you as a fortified city and as a pillar of iron and as walls of bronze against tha whole land. Jeremiah 1:18
May God bless and strenghen Archbishop Lepine.

Well, we see the usual suspects with regard to church opposition (Militant Homosexuals, Radical Feminists, Activist Journalists), but where are the “New” Atheists on this subject. They are usually front and center in sowing the seeds of discord. Maybe they are too busy thinking up another one of those hateful billboard slogans, or penning an anti-Catholic attack ad.

Come on “New” Atheists, your slipping. We all miss hearing your shrill screed.

“homosexualist, pro-abortion leaders unhappy with new Montreal archbishop”

I knew the Church was doing something right.

Hey, it’s lifesitenews and their invented word “homosexualist” 😃

As LIfeSite uses the term, it refers not simply to homosexuals but also anyone who supports gay rights.
Ah, would that make me a ‘Jewalist’ (;))and a Catholic a ‘Catholualist’?

The most interesting part of this news story is the fact that Montreal has a new Archbishop and somehow I didn’t know that already. I wish Archbishop Lépine good luck in Montreal.

Indeed. And perhaps another interesting feature is that although Archbishop-elect Lépine is an auxiliary bishop of Montreal, this was a relatively new post. It was only eight months ago that he was appointed as bishop and six months ago that he was ordained as a bishop.
catholic-hierarchy.org/bishop/blepine.html

Those events happened after Cardinal Turcotte submitted his mandatory letter of retirement. My sense is that the Holy See decided a year ago that they wanted Fr. Lépine to be the next archbishop and elevated him to bishop for that purpose.

Well, if the homosexualist and pro-abortion people are unhappy with him then that must be a good thing. ;)😃
