A new dentist of mine told me he and his wife went to Costa Rica on vacation-another doctor friend of theirs invited them down. Huge hospitals are being built off America’s shores, and many of our Doctors have already left.

The Wealthy will still be able to receive the care they want.

Many here poo-poo doctors leaving, thinking they make too much money to ever quit. Our family doctor, for one (a good Catholic man) will never perform abortions or counsel artificial birth control. If he’s forced, he’ll retire. (Or told what he can make, etc. which he has the freedom of what payments he receives now). He’s around 50 years in age. Children are all raised, through college, and on their own. He ranches.

He has worked hard for years to realize the American Dream. He and his wife have made many sacrifices during their marriage (his rounds start at 6 am in the hospital, and he has called us (follow up) at 8pm at night-even now).

About retirement: After all, everything’s paid for, he says.
