Neither do I, Neither do I.I really don’t understand Trumps relish of lawlessness to this degree?
He’s trying to campaign on “law and order.” The theory is that if people are afraid, and he sounds tough, he’ll get the votes. You know, the whole “you won’t be safe in Joe Biden’s America” thing – which of course shows scenes from Donald Trump’s America.I really don’t understand Trumps relish of lawlessness to this degree?
It brings to mind that syndrome where mothers cause an issue in their child so they can seem like they are the one that saves them.Motherwit:![]()

“WE ARE NOT ABLAZE IN PORTLAND,” Lt. Rich Chatman, a spokesman for Portland Fire & Rescue, said in a text message to CNN on Monday night. “There is a very isolated pocket of demonstrations that have involved fire, none of which has been substantial enough to need more than 1 fire engine.”
You know, I never thought of him that way, but you may have hit on something there. Let’s not forget “I alone can fix it.”It brings to mind that syndrome where mothers cause an issue in their child so they can seem like they are the one that saves them.
Bingo! You win!It contradicted Trump.![]()
Did anyone but cnn get it?Do you doubt the authenticity of this quote:
Don’t know. So, exactly what did they get wrong?
Its not like an out of control bush fire that is running with no hope of stopping easily and safeily, and causing flame tornadoes and the incredible destruction and desolation. That is what is going on in CA.Oh, Portland, a number of people have been killed, many businesses destroyed, “the cities ablaze”, we get it.
Which time that he’s said it?Don’t know.
Do we have another source that can corroborate the claim?
CNN says it was in a text message from Lt. Rich Chatman. Does it stand to reason that CNN would make up a direct quote and claim to have a text message when Lt. Rich Chatman himself could so easily contradict them if they did? That is quite a stretch. I can well believe that CNN (or any news outlet, really) could be guilty of adding their own biased spin on factual news, but making up direct quotes from whole cloth is just too risky for any news organization that values its reputation.LeafByNiggle:![]()

This is the same network whose reporters are standing in front of burning buildings claiming the protests to be peaceful.Does it stand to reason that CNN would make up a direct quote and claim to have a text message when Lt. Rich Chatman himself could so easily contradict them if they did?
Wrong he.Which time that he’s said it?
