Cursed/infested religious items.
I am always leery of receiving 2nd hand religious items as gifts, for similar reasons as mentioned in the article (infestation).
A couple weeks ago a friend gave me a crucifix they’d purchased at a 2nd hand store.
Something about the item made me uneasy, and so it was not allowed into my home until a few days ago after I’d had it blessed by a priest.
Be on your guard. Be careful with this stuff.

My mother found a small bag of diamonds in the garbage can, of all places. She had them appraised and discovered they were genuine diamonds. Why someone would throw them out was always a puzzle.

To answer a question:
My father received a moderate sum of money for the ring. (Selling it privately, he was just happy to get rid of it.) Of course my coat did not eat up the entire amount, but they were anxious for me not to go around looking like a bum. (LOL)
It was a kelly green coat, probably the most beautiful coat I ever had. My father was out of work and had to borrow money from an uncle to pay my mother’s hospital bill. She said they had to pay the hospital or they would keep my sister, who was just born. (No they wouldn’t.)
All in all, eventually he found work, and everyone was wondering if the diamonds were cursed. I have never in my life found any diamonds in my garbage can, and if I did, I would certainly consider why the people threw them away in the first place.

While a pentagram would be problematic, the pictures do not actually show one. They show a 4 sided extension to the arms, head and foot of the Cross. There is no pentagram.Often made of plastic, the symbols could either be a snake wrapped around the cross, a pentagram, and/or a sun with rays, an insignia of the Illuminati.
The other two symbols, the snake wrapping the cross and the sun are both symbols of Christ
The snake wrapping the Cross refers to the staff of the serpents that Moses set up, so that those who were in danger of death could look at the staff and be saved. This was a prefigurement of the Cross. Christ Himself referred to that in John 3:14
The Sun is an emblem of Christ as our Light and the new Dawn. It this looking towards the rising Sun as an Image of Christ that Church altars were orientated to the East.

Does it not go against our faith in God to give power to objects? The bible warns against superstition. It also warns against idolatry. Now if its wrong to believe in false Gods and their statues, isnt it even worse to believe in magic objects? God is almighty, I do not believe humans have the power to trick God by putting spells on objects.

Priests can bless objects. Also there are things like relics.Brothers and sisters,

I’m not sure whether technically lay people can bless any objects.But under special circumsatznces lay people may perform a baptism. That is also a type of blessing.
A blessing is not the same as a spell but it is related.

Yes but like you say, only a priest is able to do this and will only do this to bless objects. I have a blessed miraculous medal and i also have holy water at home. I’m very happy to have these and they draw me closer to God.
A lay person who tries to put evil spells on objects is something else. Now even though there may be a small possibility that this is possible, I do not think it could ever harm a person in the state of grace and I think the belief in cursed items, this superstition and the irrational fear that it would cause if someone were to believe in this, would be way more dangerous than the actual item it self. We have the almighty God on our side so please don’t be afraid of spooky items
