Please pray that, if it be God’s will, their hearts would be touched by what they experience.
 
Please God they will be touched by the Mass. May the Holy Spirit be very present to your family at this Mass, and continuously. We ask you Father, in Jesus’ name
 
Lord, speak to BennyBoy’s family by revealing the great love and mercy that is our Savior, Jesus Christ. In Your Divine Mercy, open their hearts to their presence, for the first time in their lives, at eternal Calvary. O Lord, that they may marvel as scripture is elevated, venerated for all to see. May their hearts be as those of the disciples on the road to Emmaus, burning within them as prophecy unfolds before them, revealing the advent of Jesus Christ. But Father, may their spirits also realize that “there is something greater here” than mere scripture or prophecy. Graciously open their hearts to experience the Heavenly Host circling the Altar in preparation for the fulfillment of prophecy in Jesus Christ. As this is opened unto them, may they experience being at the foot of the cross, looking heavenward as did Mary and the beloved Disciple. At the summit of the celebration, may they recognize Him in the breaking of the bread. Grant that they recall the words of Thomas: “My Lord and my God”. As they watch the faithful fulfill Christ’s command in John 6, may they develop a desire to commune with Him in the Flesh. When the celebration is complete, may they exclaim, as did the Centurion, “Truly, this was the Son of God!” And, as they discuss the truth amongst themselves, may a hunger be formed in their hearts. A hunger that is satisfied only by eating His Body and drinking His Blood. We ask this through the same Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
