I think they can definitely go to heaven. I don’t think that only the catholic christians will go to heaven. I think all sorts from all groups.
It’s wrong to mock at anyone’s faith, i think it’s allowed to criticize religion in a civilized way, but mocking is a silly thing. lot’s of people forget the rule of treating people in a good way, wherever their beliefs are. people love to look at silly things in the other religion, but they don’t notice silliness in their own religion.I have been to another forum site where I witnessed a lot of offensive talk about catholics by other christians. They make fun of the saints and the Pope and call us idolaters for “worshipping” Mary (I know we don’t actually worship her). Do you think that these people will have to be held accountable for their offensive words when they die and come face-to-face with the very ones they have mocked?
Funny…that’s what Catholics believe…Protestants don’t think that you can just be saved and then thats it. They believe that once you are saved, good works will follow because you are filled with the holy ghost.
So good works SHOULD come with being saved
This is a very small observation regarding Catholics who “mock” various beliefs of Catholicism. We need to pray for them as well as for others. We should never ever underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit to touch a soul.I have been to another forum site where I witnessed a lot of offensive talk about catholics by other christians. I wonder who the real Christians are among that group of people? Thanks for all of your replies. I was just very upset. I do understand that all of our church’s practices are backed by scripture, and some catholics were trying to defend our faith using them but to no avail. Its really horrible what some think of our church. I think it goes way beyond what protestants argue. I don’t even want to mention how bad. Thanks, and I will try to do the right thing and pray for these people.
God bless.

They will be given the option of “Cake… or death”!!!I have been to another forum site where I witnessed a lot of offensive talk about catholics by other christians. Is it possible to murder someone 5,000 times?Funny…that’s what Catholics believe…
Although unfortunately, I have heard a pastor for my troop say that “Once you are saved, you can murder someone 5000 times and still go to Heaven”
No joke…
Can you start capitalizing “God” for us? Let’s not forget to uphold the most important proper noun in grammar. Thank you.I think its gods job to decides who goes where, not ours. Only he can judge our hearts.
and personally, I think god intends it to keep it that way.
Also to the OP, if there is somebody judging you and mocking your religion, I’m sorry to hear that. Religion or no religion, nobody should be mocked and put down.
It is fascinating in this regard that research done on NDE’s has the experience universally analyzable in seven distinct parts. An experiencer may have any from one to all seven parts included in the happening, according to the study. One phase, the “judgement” phase, is most simply stated as the individual asking themselves two questions with utmost dispassion and clarity in the full knowledge of their life.I imagine the final judgment will be very humbling to many, Catholics and Protestants alike.
Grammar Nazi huh?Can you start capitalizing “God” for us? Let’s not forget to uphold the most important proper noun in grammar. Thank you.![]()
Only when it counts.Grammar Nazi huh?
That’s fine, we understand. Thanks again.Well since you asked politely, I will. I just type fast and sometimes don’t realize if im typing correctly or not.
Who is ‘we’?Only when it counts.

“We” are all Catholics who want God’s name treated with respect.Who is ‘we’?
You were the only person whose ever pointed it out to me.
Thank you for this post. It is relatively important to me, even though I often fall to insulting other people…I think its gods job to decides who goes where, not ours. Only he can judge our hearts.

WE is the vast majority of posters on this forum, but most of us just assume it is ignorance of the proper usage or just accidental typing issues. Most people arent quite as worried about it, but we all care when it is misspelled. I actually go back and edit my posts whenever I slip up and forget to capitalize God. Yes, it is similar to the G-D custom in Judaism, but it shows proper reverance for the name of God.Who is ‘we’?

Or most people just type fast and don’t think a big deal needs to be made out of a word. Im sure GOD is more worried about peoples salvation than wether or not a word is capitalized. Also too, Im not sure if you noticed, but in my other posts, I almost always capitalize it. Obviously it was a typo.Thank you for this post. It is relatively important to me, even though I often fall to insulting other people…
