Father diagnosed with Acute, Aggressive Leukemia

Thank you to all who have been praying for my Father, Bob. We received the news today that he does indeed have an acute and aggressive type of Leukemia. He is 73 and has other health issues as well. Please join me in praying for the best possible outcome for him. We would love a miracle, and will place his needs in God’s hands in the hope that he may be treatable, even at his age. He is concerned about finances as there are none. No insurance, no pension. My parents lost everything several years ago and have been unable to work to rebuild. I am dependent on them while seeking disability for a second time. Our whole family could use some prayers at this time for what lies ahead of us. Most especially, my Dad. Thank you.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Bob. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Bob’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Bob, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
