Another saint in heaven…laying down his life for his family. God bless this wonderful family and the example of their lives. Prayers for their son in critical condition.
 
That is one incredibly sad story. I’ll pray for the family, as well.
 
Thanks for posting this. I heard this yesterday and was looking for the article.
 
I understand that Joeph may be out of the woods. I heard he may be discharged from the hospital soon.

On another note, a woman who was part of the local Mom’s group my wife belongs too had a stroke/heart attack and ended up in the hospital.

The edlest Vander Woude, who is a priest, took time out of his hospital visit to his brother to sit with the family and pray the Rosary for the mother.

Wow.
