Scripture does not promise that Salvation is through Christ alone???Not even Scipture promises that.

But not from her own resources, of course. But how does that promise jive when considering faith plus works? She is** promising **salvation.
we should not be worried about that. The more non-Catholic comes to bring up issues, the more our true believe will be on their mind. Of course, I don’t mean that we accept rude comments, etc. We could pray and hope that the Holy Spirit will guide all of us to see how much God wants us to love Virgin Mary. If people come here with an open-mind, they shall find the truth.Yes kinda make you wonder if his attack on the Church is the work of satan.![]()
My simple questions haven’t been given simple answers.I wonder if the OP is actually here to discuss, or merely to aggravate. Seeing as how most of the posts have consisted of little less than a few words that do not contribute to any actual discussion, and half of them are simply questions, it would not appear that the OP does not want (or does not have) anything to contribute to an open discussion. Hopefully though I will be proven wrong, because I was intrigued by the original question.
Can you point me to an apparition of satan where his alleged prophecies have come true ?When I read this type of stuff I can’t help but wonder how many of you think its Mary and how many the work of satan?
All the more reason for the Church not to jump in, there was a Spanish nun who alleged for 30 years to be having visions and messages.2nd corinthians talks of satan disguised as a beautiful angel.
Just curious…
I am ok with it because both the Church is Ok with it and I believe it for I love Virgin Mary.My simple questions haven’t been given simple answers.
I am requesting people to consider Fatima as it aligns with scripture… Are you okay with it?. As a Catholic most accept because the church okayed it, though it is not required to accept I am wondering what you think. Do all just accept it because the church says its okay?
Truly not just because the Church says it’s OKMy simple questions haven’t been given simple answers.

This was a tongue in cheek comment…“never mind…” on your second reply.
How does the church rationalize the date and location discrepencies? Would a messenger from God err in their message?Truly not just because the Church says it’s OK… but because
a) I for one know and understand how thoroughly such apparitions are investigated before anything is pronounced in regard to them
b) we understand how reasonable the Church’s attitude is to them. It never endorses private apparitions such as Fatima. Simply it says ‘these are not contrary to church teaching and therefore OK to believe, but not required or necessary’
c) Fatima in particular ties in with all the things we believe (and believed for hundreds of years before it happened) about Christ and Mary and their relationship.
Not by “Faith” alone.Scripture does not promise that Salvation is through Christ alone???
Why would it have to align with Scripture? My simple questions haven’t been given simple answers.

A private revelation is not infallible like the Bible and that is why it does not become part of Divine Revelation. There can be errors in the transmission of a message. How does the church rationalize the date and location discrepencies? Would a messenger from God err in their message?
I believe it is in 1st peter where we are to test the spirits also ISAiah I will check tonight, I’m referring to teachings not conttradicting scripture. Why would it have to align with Scripture?
The most levelheaded (no offense to the others) catholic post so far on this thread, all should keep this in mind.A private revelation is not infallible like the Bible and that is why it does not become part of Divine Revelation. There can be errors in the transmission of a message.
God Bless,
