John Kearns:
Below is a link to pro-abortion bands and solo artists. If you’d prefer to keep your moral blinders on, it’s best not to visit this site. However, if moral integrity is important to you, and you take your Catholic faith seriously, it’s worth reading. If you’re anything like me, you’ll be needing a heavy duty shredder. Or, wear safety glasses, and you can simply snap the CD’s and LP’s. Tapes are the easiest to destroy of physical media, and, of course, MP3s only require use of the delete button.

Destroying this stuff was painful. But, not nearly so painful as what 1.3 million+ babies endure each year.

There is also a pro-life page on the site, and a lot of additional pro-life information. The organization, Rock for Life, is an affiliate of American Life League, probably the premier pro-life organization.
You’re starting to sound like a broken record: 3 times on two threads in less than a week, nearly word for word.

JMJ_Pinoy - i can’t believe you mentioned anberlin! I love them, but so many people around me haven’t ever heard of them. they are def one of my favorites, but i also love red hot chili pepers, relient k, and many more that are too many to list, but i listen to a very wide variety.

but John Kearns - your link wouldn’t work for me - it could just be my computer though
I’m also an anberlin fan! I was reading through the Switchfoot and Kevin Max (of DC talk) boards and people mentioned them, and I bought their newer album a couple of weeks ago.

I like Christian rock bands. My favorite is one I just discovered. Their name is Katholicus. The CD is “No Greater Love.” I think they are Catholic because they mentiuon the Sacred Heart in one song. Has anybody else heard of them?🙂

Too many to list…

Tops are Chloe Agnew, Mark Knopfler, Emmylou Harris, Andrea Bocelli

These guys are CATHOLIC and they are GOOD! 👍
The words are really Catholic, one song is “Holy Mary,” and the music rocks.
Most of their music is free downloads, and their CD is only $10.
Get the CD, some of the best songs are on the CD (“Holy Mary”)

NIN is my fave band ever. I think Trent is so talented and some of the music is truly beautiful. I just came back to the faith and was feeling bad thinking I needed to stop listening to this. I’ve been listening to a lot of Christian rock lately though. I just love rock music…and personally think it is ridiculous that just because you listen to something that you will run out and do what the song says. I think you DO have to stay strong in your faith…but you are ultimately responsible for your choices. I do believe in true evil, but I also believe in self-responsibility.
Unlike Manson…I think Trent has matured a lot and realizes a lot of stuff in his younger years was ridiculous. And I don’t think his music came out of wanting to be a God-hating nutcase (like Manson) but more from a place of deep depression and desperation…which I can relate to. If anything…his music makes me feel sad for him.

Except for March of Pigs-that just makes me want to throw stuff LOL (j/k)
