For chains probably Papa John’s… but local pizzerias can be a thousand times better.
Locals are good, but it’s very out to outpizza the Hut

–Particularly because Pizza Hut offers
consistency, while still being good enough to satisfy your tastebuds with a variety of pleasant flavors. Another reason is
scope; Local places are just that: Local–but chains like Pizza Hut are vast enough that you don’t just have to live in town x to get your bite. Then there’s
scale; Pizza Hut is a large enough corporation where we can address it as such, whereas all Local Pizzerias are, by nature–conglomerated into a general category which can only exist in relation to the nuclei (Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and all other Chain Pizza Corporations).
This means that Local Pizzerias are inconsistent and thus, what may be astronomical in your area could be trash in another’s. Not all Local Pizzerias are equal, nor are they all good; For every force, there is a counterforce, whereas with chain pizzerias (and restaurants in general) there is a streamlined, consistent level of quality that is universally recognizable and thus, more comprehensible.
With that said, it is a matter of necessity to reiterate the nigh-undisputed fact that
nobody.
and I mean
nobody.
Outpizzas.
The Hut.
