The Verizon Mobile “teen girl gets a pony” commercial.

It KILLS me.

Wow, I haven’t thought of the Norelco commercial or the one with the birds in the tree for ages. Thanks for the memory. Living in the Chicago area, we are subjected to that Illinois lottery commercial quite frequently–and I hate it. I even change channels when it’s on.
My current favorite is an ad for ready-to-bake cookie dough in which a little boy discovers his father eating the cookies which were set out for Santa.

There was a really good one on just before Christmas, from Publix (a grocery chain). A young man is having to work the holiday shift in a hospital (he’s pro’ly a resident, or something like that), and he’s talking to his mother on his cellphone–everyone’s there getting Christmas dinner ready, and he can’t be there because he has to work. Finally his shift ends, and he goes back to his apartment, and his whole family is there–that’s where they were getting dinner ready.

(Seeing it was a lot better than reading my description)

I like the after-Christmas commercial for Special K cereal where the woman in the red bathrobe is leaning over the fireplace cleaning up, and her young daughter looks in from the stairwell, sees a big red-clad tush and says, “Santa!” I can so relate, having had more than my share of Christmas cookies…😃
