Michael038:
These three equally, Journey Home, Father Corapi, and Sunday Night Live.
I agree

My conversion to Catholitism can be attributed to these fine men of God.

And my friendship with God can be attributed to Catholitism and Mother Mary, the only Mother I have ever known. :crying:

John Landis:
One big “Ditto” to you! I’m going to see Fr. Corapi in Scranton. Pa. May 19-20. Can’t wait. When I see people leaving the church because “they are not getting fed”, it breaks my heart in light of the great education available on EWTN. Those who I know that leave have never watched EWTN. I often wonder if they had tuned in for a few thought provoking shows like “The Journey Home”, just maybe they would have changed their minds. I’m a convert and once you understand what you are receiving in the Holy Eucharist, you know you are getting fed. Besides taking part in the sacraments, EWTN opens your eyes to the great depth and wonderful riches that our church has to offer!! God Bless all who labor in the name of the Lord at EWTN! May they grow and grow in their vocation of saving souls.
DH and I will be in Scranton for that conference as well, John! We’re excited too. 🙂

Fr. Corapi is my favorite followed by Life on the Rock. :yup:

Awesome! If havent read Queen of the Cosmos by Jan Connell yet I highly reccomend it. The Blessed Mother is talking to us all through these visionaries in this book.

Peace

In the half-hour categories I’d like Fr. Dubay and Joel Gray and Fr. Apostoli and Scott Hahn.

The poll seemed to slight Fr. Pavone. He has a message but I’m saturated with it. He’s really preaching to the choir, isn’t he?

No one has mentioned EWTN Live yet!! I love all the shows mentioned in the poll (I time my irnoning on Tuesday so I can listen to The Abundant Life, and hubby and I watch LOTR on Friday afternoon with our lunch), but the two that I hardly ever see are the Journey Home and Web of Faith.

Father Corapi. When I feel the P.C. rhetoric of the secular/pop culture world start to wear me down, Father Corapi sets me straight and brings the truth back to me.

I enjoy all of the shows listed, as well.

Let’s hear it for whoever voted for The Abundant Life! I wish the polling option allowed for more choices, but I just typed out the first shows that came to my mind.

BTW, I really enjoyed Father William Casey’s Lenten Retreat series. He’s almost as good as Fr. Corapi.

I’d also like to point out my enjoyment for the “Lives of the Saints” shorts that run in-between shows. The music is fantastic, too.

YES !!!

I contacted EWTN to see if the Lives of the Saints could be purchased on DVD or something. They didn’t know if or when they might be made available for purchase. I would love to just sit down and watch a bunch of them at once. I hate that I never know when they will be on.

LOTR is my favorite and the only one I catch on a regular basis. I also like Journey Home and The World Over.

I like Sunday Night Live and World OVer.
There ya’ go, Rock. I think Fr. Benedict is really an amazing man, especially after everything he has been through. A modern day saint, no doubt!

A question for those who voted Journey Home: Is it your favorite because you can relate as converts or do you just like hearing conversion stories? Or both? 😃

Both.

At first it was in hearing the stories that I realized I wasn’t alone in my search and discoveries nor was I alone in dealing with the fear of what I might have to face. I was hooked on this show well before I had the courage to step out in faith.

Now, I can relate in a more complete way since I have finally come HOME myself. 😃
