Ever since I got my DVR (I love that thing! My job keeps me busy during “prime time” hours, so I can record games, other stuff and watch it whenever!) I watch a lot of Top Chef. I’ve been a huge fan since the first season, but now I don’t have to miss an episode!
I’m not usually a big fan of the types of shows that you have to watch every week to know what’s going on, so I haven’t seen much of 24 or things like that.
I enjoy Psych, The Simpsons and Scrubs. Anything that can make me laugh without feeling too guilty:D
Lotsa sports stuff, and I think “Stump the Schwab” is great! (Although I never know any of the answers).
When nothing else is on I check out what’s on EWTN…

Phsyc and Monk are probably the two best shows any-one could think to put back to back. I deffently watch both, but i probably wouldn’t even know about Phsyc if it werent for Monk. Funny how things work out that way isn’t it?🙂

I just discovered “Prison Break.” I didn’t think I’d like it but I am now hooked on it. I’m watching the first season via Netflix. It is very good and exciting. It does have a lot of violence, but I think it will appeal to “24” fans–in case anyone is going through withdrawal.

I don’t watch TV anymore, but back when we had one, I loved BBC’s reruns of “All Creatures Great and Small” after the James Herriot series. They were wonderful and very funny, and as far as I can remember, “clean”. Lots of great vet scenes with a rumenotomy and C-section, etc.

Now I content myself with the books! 👍

  1. Miss that show. None of the shows interest me as much as that show did.

I don’t usually watch tv, but when I do, I watch ‘‘Person of Interest’’. ‘‘Psych’’ is good too.
‘‘Prison Break’’ was a very well made show as well.

Aside from sporting events and public affairs programing, I watch almost no TV. I do watch Gold Rush, Top Chef and Restaurant Impossible every now and then. Almost forgot, I do watch the This Old House Hour pretty regularly.

Corner Gas!

🙂 🙂 🙂
I have all six seasons on DVD and I have watched many episodes over and over again. It’s hard to find a show with characters you care about, that you aren’t embarrassed to watch with your grandmother or your kids, that has no swearing, gratuitous violence, coarse language, etc. etc. etc.

I have been a big fan of Eric Peterson since his days on Street Legal and of Lorne Cardinal since his days as Chief Smack-Your-Face-In on Blackfly so I was thrilled to find them together in this show.

For me, it’s:
  1. Doctor Who
  2. Merlin/Sherlock
  3. Supernatural (although their misuse of Latin annoys me to no end)
  4. Blue Bloods
  5. Castle
  6. One Piece
  7. Heroes
  8. Lost
I know the last two are finished, but they were pretty good while they lasted.

I don’t have any particular favorite tv show since I rarely watch television, but when I do have a number that I enjoy and go back to for repeated viewings. Now this list is expansive, and by the looks of it it seems I watch a lot of tv (depends on how you define “watches a lot”) but these shows have accumulated over the years.

I know my list is long but I own allot of the series on DVD and some even on VHS, lol. I try to limit my TV watching as much as possible and I refuse to pay for cable; I take the money most spend on cable and donate it to my local PBS station. 👍

Downton Abby
Friday Night Lights - rewatched recently on Netflix
Alias - currently watching on Netflix

TV shows that are current shows? Can’t say although I love Game of Thrones and everything anime. FullMetal Alchemist, Berserk, Rurouni Kenshin, Monster, Hayate the Combat Butler, I love all those shows.

Parks and Rec (aka “Tommy’s Place!”). What other show has or had people like Ron Swanson, Chris Traeger, and Tom Haverford? It is /LITERALLY/ the greatest show ever 😉

“What I said was give me ALL of the bacon and eggs you have”. Classic Ron 😛
