I’ve always, always done that sort of thing-open doors, pull out chairs, watch my language in front of women, etc.
If someone said, “Your not being a gentlemen” to another man- I really can’t think of a worse insult.
If someone said it to me (which, thank God, has never happend) I’d be mortified.
