For seven years Obama has been in denial that we have a problem with
Islamic terrorists and has sought to shame any American who would
suggest such a thing by labeling them as racists, bigots, or cowards.
I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that the killings in San Bernardino would not
have happened if we hadn’t had this constant drum beat of political correctness
coming from the White House and picked up on by the media and liberals.

The killers’ neighbor didn’t report to the police that she’d often seen
Middle Eastern men bringing packages to the home of the killers and that
they were spending lots of time in the garage.

If she had picked up the phone and called the FBI or Homeland Security
the shootings would have been prevented. But she didn’t want to risk
being labeled a bigot.

Good job, Obama.
Wow really? You honestly think that she should have called the police because she saw middle eastern men visiting the home of middle eastern descended people and bringing packages or that they were spending time in their garage? You know what the FBI and police would have told her? Stop being so damned nosy. The exact same thing they told me when I contacted the police about my neighbor acting far more suspicious than anything the neighbor described these terrorists doing. There’s nothing in what they were doing that would entitle the police to do anything other than knock on the door and say hello.

Yes after the fact we know they were terrorists, but nothing about men bringing packages to a home or working in a garage is sinister. They could have just as easily had a '66 Chevelle in that garage they were all working on as a slew of pipe bombs.

=Padres1969;13484604]Not seeing where you see the press are blaming the NRA. Seems pretty plain from the article linked they’re referring to Daesh inspired terrorism.
This morning’s New York Daily News front page lists Wayne LaPierre as a terrorist. So yeah, there are some in media who have decided to blame the NRA. I wonder if some of the writers at the Daily News wear brown shirts. :hmmm:
Now if you want to say the NRA and their bought and paid for politicians
That’s a pretty strong charge. Do you have evidence, and if you do, have you turned it over to the authorities? If not, are you then complaining about members of the NRA across this country joining together to exercise their first amendment right “to petition the Government for a redress of grievances”?
may have made it easier for radicals like Farook and his wife to legally obtain weapons that wouldn’t be inaccurate seeing as the NRA has opposed all manner of gun regulation.
Disagree. The constitution is clear that regarding the right to keep and bear arms, and that this right cannot be infringed. Now, if there was evidence that Farook and Malik were conspiring, then certainly there could have been efforts made to detain them, charge them with a crime, and prevent them from exercising this right. But there must be adjudication, and they must have due process.
Which even as a proud gun owner I’ve always frankly found ironic given the wording of the second amendment.
The wording of the second amendment is clear:
** A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, **
The militia is all of the armed citizens of the country. The wording here speaks of a free state
** This is not an accident. The founders knew that the government could and would protect the state, regardless of the level of liberty or tyranny… It is the people that ultimately protects a free state.
** the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Since this is a right, it is antecedent to government, and specifically for individuals. No where in the Constitution is the term right applied to government. Power is.

Everyone is so bewildered that President Obama and government officials were reluctant to call the incident in San Bernardino an act of terrorism. 🤷 Never mind calling it what it really is …Radical Islamic terrorism.

My very good guess is that radical Islam is very well infiltrated to high levels of government in our county.

I think Americans are coming to the realization that we live elbow to elbow with the enemy. Isn’t there a horror movie about something like this? The lights turn on or there is a flash of lightning and the victims suddenly sees what is lurking?

The writing is on the wall. How many flashes of lightning will it take for Americans to see?

Yep - she shoulda. Call the FBI and tell it. Let them figure it out! Her intention was not to be a busybody, a nosy neighbor, but was a puzzled neighbor that noticed that in today’s world, something was happening that seemed strangely “off”. Because the brain washing of political correctness - intimidated many people to make bad decisions. she was led astray.

Reportedly, so far it appears the couple acted on their own. FBI Director James Comey said there is no indication the couple was part of a terrorist cell or network. He also said much of the evidence in the case does not add up. David Bowdich, the assistant chief of the FBI’s Los Angeles office, would not confirm media reports that the wife involved in the massacre, Pakistani Tashfeen Malik, pledged allegiance to the Islamic State in a Facebook message apparently posted when the shooting started.

Her point …I think…is that Americans have been made fearful…fearful of being someone that racially profiles another. Just today, the Islamic Center in an American city cancelled a peaceful demonstration in front of a Federal building. Their plan was to carry signage protesting Islamaphobia and to encourage Syrian refugees. The event was cancel because they wanted to be ‘safe than sorry’…in light of the San Bernardino incident.

This anti-Islamaphobia is something our own President has pushed. Remember the ‘clock boy’ who was made a guest at the White House?

I don’t know why anyone keeps trying to make sense of all this Islamic terrorism. There is no rationale but it does always point to one thing.

Wrong! The FBI has determined that this is an act of Islamic terrorism. Details have not been released and the investigation will continue. There have been links on social media and the cell phones they smashed are still giving up info. So - “not so fast” on spinning.

BREAKING: Obama/Jarrett Warn FBI Director Over Anti-Muslim Tone (UPDATED)**
If true, this is a scenario that appears to pit the Obama White House against FBI Director James Comey over what reports suggest is an increasingly divisive conflict between Mr. Obama and Mrs. Jarrett and federal law enforcement officials regarding feared pending ISIS terror threats inside of the United States.

I do understand a need for balance, not to demonize or ostracize a certain segment of the population. This needs some reflection, so does protecting our country though.

Too many of these, very sad. Another one really would put us over the edge, it is insane.
It’s a distinction no country wants to publicize - the sobering statistics which suggest a mass shooting occurred every day this year, such as in the United States. Some criminologists label mass shootings as incidents in which four or more people are killed or wounded.
The reality of the growing gun violence was highlighted Wednesday in San Bernardino, California, with the worst mass shooting this year. Fourteen people were killed and 21 others wounded at a social services center.
And the thing is, it’s not so much the NRA’s doing, a huge portion of Americans don’t want gun control, some farmer with his weapons in the middle of the US is not doing anyone harm. That’s why it seems band aid fixes don’t work and on the other hand, most proposals don’t seem to really take away from gun freedoms.

Reflect on this:

Part of America’s challenge has been a language barrier and a government and media unwilling to decipher the truth.

So it’s the president’s fault that someone didn’ report suspicious behavior.
I never voted for him but you haters really are in need of counciling.

The FBI Director agrees with me.
Here is what Comey said this afternoon to encourage people to report activity which might
seem suspicious… (starting at minute 4.54)

I think the FBI Director was differentiating between an individual act of terrorism committed by ISIS supporters and the couple’s being part of a larger organization or terrorist cell. So far he believes the former, not the latter, although this may change.

Even if it was not a direct command from an ISIS leader somewhere, where did their “influence” or “inspiration” come from?

Who was the wife pledging allegiance to?

Probably from ISIS, and ISIS claims as much. However, they were not directed or programmed by ISIS to carry out the attack so far as we know at the present time.

I understand. But personally I do not think this is how they operate. They are given instructions and tools and sent out in the world to shoot up and blow up whenever, wherever.

After the job is done, ISIS claims responsibility. I highly doubt they have a central command for all of their extremist members. If they feel so inclined, go for it. ISIS knows they’ll hear about it after the fact.
