I got it.It’s actually brilliant satire, but you need an understanding of American politics to get it.

I have heard about that kid’s program. I think it is Palestinian, but I might be wrong. The thing is though, she truly thought she was doing a good thing, she was raised this way, as a muslim and at some point, felt drawn to the extreme side of things, no different than those extreme christians that feel killing and bombing abortion clinics is perfectly fine.
To the terrorist, teaching their kids to hate the infidels and telling them its fine to kill them in ingrained in them from a young age, I watched a muslim kids show not long ago, they had a guy dressed up in a honey bee costume, he was asking 4-5 yr olds what they would do if they came across a jew or christian on the street, they said they would shoot them if they had a gun, and throw rocks at their head if they did not, the ‘bee’ was laughing, praising them for their answers, encouraging this behavior…when you grow up with that constantly being thrown in your face, its a good bet you are going to retain those beliefs.
I’d say that you probably shouldn’t base how the public is feeling based on an internet forum. Personally, I don’t think people are all that scared.I may be wrong, wouldn’t be the first time…just noticing an awful lot of testy posts and what seem like frayed nerves…
I can only speak for myself, but I now check where the exits are when I go somewhere new. It is probably a good idea if you are only concerned about things like a fire, or a tornado, ordinary crime, or some other accident. Terrorism is still a low probability event, but it has now been added to our list of things to prepare for.I’d say that you probably shouldn’t base how the public is feeling based on an internet forum. I’ve always done that so nothing has changed. I witnessed a panic in a bar once where someone’s pepper spray went off and I realized there were about 20 not-so-sober people trying to go out a chained emergency door. It was a small panic and no one was hurt, but it struck me to always be aware of my surroundings.I can only speak for myself, but I now check where the exits are when I go somewhere new.
