Federal Judge Prohibits Prayer at Texas Graduation Ceremony

Help! It’s the thought police!

Jokes aside, I hope this decision gets overturned. If not, then I’m sure the founding fathers would be terribly disappointed.

I have noticed it for a bit longer than that…going on 10 years. The past seems to increase regularly.

Even here, on CAF, there has been a quickening. Look how many times news pieces are posted multiple times and people are responding to both…people can feel the quickening…it is palpable. Similar themes, similar feel–faster pace.

So many abortion related threads…life is at the forefront right now…amazing how many threads about life.
 
This makes me think about the words in my signature. Were in the midst of apathy and dependence. Bondage seems to be coming in black robes with a gavel in it’s hand.

Take heart…there is a quickening going on…people’s minds are deeply troubled…the onslaught of abortion and life threads tells us that much. I think down deep many people sense we have really gone astray, that turning out backs to God is NOT a good thing…that legally killing his precious little unborn ones cannot lead to anything good.

I believe that a quickening like this likely happens whenever a culture is faced with a real decision…will it finally and completely choose life, or will it allow itself to fall into the abyss stemming from self-centered agendas that reject the good of the whole.

My heart breaks for the little innocent unborn babies who count on their mothers and fathers to protect them at their most vulnerable time. It rips my heart apart to see how cold so many people are…they create fancy arguments and fights just so they can maintain the status quo, all the while thousands are killed every day. Imagine that tiny little three month old baby happily growing and flourishing in its mother’s womb and then suddenly–wham! :(:(:(:(:(:(:(😦

Ooooh, how to get pro-abortion people to just let the truth in…to just ask them to crack open their hearts for just a second…to just let Jesus show them the love he has for them and for the precious little ones…their hearts will break for all the times they hated God’s little ones and they will become strong people of life!

May God help everyone see the truth of His created life before the world falls into an abyss.

I hope you’re right. I don’t like the world my children are growing up in, the only thing I can do about it though is to raise them right and hope they help bring on the change. I completely agree with you.

I once told a person I know that the world needs more good people and that the way to change the world is for us to create as many good people as we can…we need more people who both love and fear the Lord…

Irreparable harm by hearing prayer? Is this judge serious? What a sad state of affairs. Someone could go to jail if the word “prayer” is uttered at a high school graduation. But don’t worry, the speech police have said it is okay to make the sign of the cross.

Another judge against prayer appointed by Clinton. I cannot understand why all of these democrat Catholics are so tied to their anti Christian party.

This judge declared that anybody that prays at the graduation will be put in jail. It is a sad day when people have to fear going to jail for praising the Lord.

I hope someone defies this judge and prays anyway. What is more eternal, denying some ideological man, or denying THE Judge?

Yes, and the left applauds this, yet it is a sign of the times it amazes me how unaware they are of what is happening all around them. I suppose I should feel amazed, after all this sort of thing is predicted and foretold, yet it still amazes me.

Sensing a pattern? Too bad this judge might be of the opinion that these presidents did irreparable harm to the nonbelievers hearing their addresses. Even sadder that he would throw into jail any student that dare quote them. What has happened to our nation?
