Feeling weak, sick, please pray for me

I sprained my ankle yesterday. 😦 I hope to see my doctor tomorrow if I can get a same day appointment. Please pray it heals quickly!

I hope we hear good news about your biopsy soon!

Yikes! A sprained ankle is NASTY! My daughter did it to hers twice while she played basketball! Glad to hear you’re seeing your doctor. My biopsy results should be in tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed! Bless ya, Bee!

Thank you so much for asking about me and for all your kindness and prayers. I have tears in my eyes right now; it has been a very trying day. I went to my OB-GYN and things aren’t so great there, either. Hope this isn’t too much information. If I do need an ileostomy (a bag), then my OB-GYN recommends a totally hysterectomy. I hardly have any insides left as it is. My entire colon is gone. I’ve had a bowel obstruction. My pouch is infected, and the whole darn insides are sick! I’m on potent medicine and it’s making me feel like throwing up and depressed. BUT - other than that - hey - I’m GREAT! What a life!
I’m having a really hard time praying right now. I’m concerned about ovarian cancer and so is my doctor. I got a blood test today and ultrasound tomorrow a.m. Please, pray for me, as I cannot pray for myself. I wonder what God’s plans are? I am praying for you. I SO appreciate your concern. God bless you!

Beloved Padre Pio, today I come to add my prayer to the thousands of prayers offered to you every day by those who love and venerate you. They ask for cures and healings, earthly and spiritual blessings, and peace for body and mind. And because of your friendship with the Lord, he heals those you ask to be healed, and forgives those you forgive.

Through your visible wounds of the Cross, which you bore for 50 years, you were chosen in our time to glorify the crucified Jesus. Because the Cross has been replaced by other symbols, please help us to bring it back in our midst, for we acknowledge it is the only true sign of salvation.

As we lovingly recall the wounds that pierced your hands, feet and side, we not only remember the blood you shed in pain, but your smile, and the invisible halo of sweet smelling flowers that surrounded your presence, the perfume of sanctity.

Padre Pio, may the healings of the sick become the testimony that the Lord has invited you to join the holy company of Saints. In your kindness, please help Judi with her own special request: bring to her comfort through this hardship, grant her strength to endure these trials, and lend your strength to her that she may hold strong in her faith. Moreover we ask you to pray to the Lord that he may restore her health. :signofcross:

Judi, once it was revealed to me that my affliction was for the sake of those who pray for me, it became a blessing to me. Your (and theirs) continuing prayers have brought me blessing upon blessing. My soul is being perfected in the act of praying for you, as yours is when you pray for me. All time spent in conversation with the Father stores up treasure in Heaven.

I would not give up my affliction, for the Lord uses it for His own purpose. When you see non-believers praying for you, you bless and thank the Lord for using you to accomplish some small part of His will.

Prayers, and Christ’s peace be with you.

Thank you everyone for your continued prayers. Yesterday was quite distressing. I have a condition called PSVT (of the heart) and it wouldn’t stop racing for 1 hour. Finally, my daughter took me to urgent care. They couldn’t stop the heart from racing; called an ambulance; ambulance to me to the hospital; got it under control there. Apparently the med they give you stops the heart for 1 - 4 seconds, then resets the rhythm. That drug was not a good feeling. they wanted to keep me overnite because they said I had a chance of it recurring and could have a heart attack. I didn’t stay (obviously). I need to call my cardiologist today. I’m trying not to move - I’m so scared. Please keep praying. I KNOW … just on
more thing to pray about for good ol’ Jude! My prayers continue for you all. By the way, my Mom and I are considering just staying at Perpetual Adoration. What do you think?
