Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Continuing to pray for you! You have offered so many of us prayers of your own and are very special to all of us at CAF, so please don’t lose hope or faith, you are loved very much. May God Bless You!

Judi, will remember you before the Blessed Sacrament tonight, providing the chemo doesn’t take me out of service. In that case, I will pray at home. Either way, we are both blessed.

The peace of Christ be with you.

You remain in my prayers.

*** Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen***

God bless you +

Galilea,
Your post was so timely! Today I saw my GI doctor and did not receive good news. I will probably have surgery soon. I am not looking forward to this at all. Please keep praying that I will get well. I need all the prayers I can get. God bless you. You are in my prayers, too!

Much love,

Psalm 121 - The Lord, the keeper of the People of God - A Song of Ascents

*I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
*
Psalm 121 KJV (King James Version used for the Poetry/Music)

Picture the psalm being song to you. I’m sorry that I couldn’t find the version I learned on the net. I really tried - I searched for over an hour, but it’s better that I give up the search and get this posted…

Romans 8:18-30 - Glory is the Destiny of the Chilren of God, becuse God has called us to share in His glory

*I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God; for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning in travail together until now; and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words. And he who searches the hearts of men knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the first-born among many brethren. And those whom he predestined he also called; and those whom he called he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified.*

Romans 8:31-39 - The Power of God’s Love

*What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also give us all things with him? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies; who is to condemn? Is it Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us?

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, “For thy sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.*

Romans 8:18-39 RSV

Psalm 5:1-3

Give ear to my words, O LORD,
consider my meditation.
Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King,
and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD;
in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee,
and will look up.

Psalm 5:1-3 KJV (King James Version used again for the Poetry/Music)

Picture someone singing that to you or with you.

You’ll have to play about 2:45 min. of the video before you get to the psalm, and the song itself plays a little less than 3 min. It’s not that great a quality, but at least you can sing along! Copyright issues mean “beggers can’t be choosers”.

I hope this provides some needed comfort in your affliction.

Your Brother in Christ, Michael

PS, Remember, It is by His stripes that we are healed.

Judi, will remember you before the Blessed Sacrament tonight, providing the chemo doesn’t take me out of service. In that case, I will pray at home. Either way, we are both blessed.

The peace of Christ be with you.
Praise God! I was able to intercede on your behalf before the Blessed Sacrament. You were first and then a litany of others. Use your strength, Embrace your cross. See what a blessing it is to have so many on their knees, speaking to God on your behalf.

God bless you Judi as you struggle toward His Kingdom!

A Bible verse from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Noon reading (Sext) Romans 8:26 ©
The Spirit comes to help us in our weakness. For when we cannot choose words in order to pray properly, the Spirit himself expresses our plea in a way that could never be put into words.

Praying for you …

:gopray:

Judi, you have been very much in my thoughts today. May Jesus be with you to help, comfort, and strengthen you. Jesus please bring healing to Judi and Judi’s life.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm 15 (16)
The Lord, my inheritance

My body will rest in calm and hope.
Preserve me, Lord, I put my hope in you.

I have said to the Lord “You are my Lord, in you alone is all my good.”
As for the holy and noble men of the land, in them is all my delight.
But for those who run to alien gods, their sorrows are many.
I will not share in their libations of blood. I will not speak their names.

You, Lord, are my inheritance and my cup. You control my destiny,
the lot marked out for me is of the best, my inheritance is all I could ask for.
I will bless the Lord who gave me understanding; even in the night my heart will teach me wisdom.
I will hold the Lord for ever in my sight: with him at my side I can never be shaken.
Thus it is that my heart rejoices, heart and soul together; while my body rests in calm hope.

You will not leave my soul in the underworld. You will not let your chosen one see decay.
You will show me the paths of life, the fullness of joy before your face, and delights at your right hand until the end of time.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Reading 1 Thessalonians 5:23
May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you in every way and preserve your life and your soul and your body without blemish, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

My dear phoenix:

Wow! That reading just really spoke to my heart tonight. It’s amazing how you post these Psalms at such crucial moments in my life! You are inspired by the Holy Spirit. You have given me hope - again. The Lord Our God is using you especially for me, I believe, in my deepest hours. Thank you again!

How are you doing? I hope you are well. I will PM you soon. I pray for nothing but happy, peaceful, loving things to happen in your life. May Our Lord keep you close to Him and safe from all harm from now until eternity.

Blessings!
