Hello all,
I know for instance, that with regard to movies, one must ensure one does not fall into the sin of veangence, i.e.: delight over brutality inflicted on the ‘bad guy’.
However, would the same principle be applicable, say, in less overt circumstances? I mean, when studying history, one reads stuff about military aims and campaign etc. A spirit of aggression, rather mild and not overt, and perhaps, a spirit of domination, is somewhat present within me, when I do. Would this be an occassion of sin - if a sin - to avoid? Or is this getting a bit scrupulous? I am somewhat prone to sentiments of zeal; perhaps this is a manifestation of it.
