While some Democratic senators are suggesting that changes to the Patriot Act will not be enough to win their votes, California Democrat Dianne Feinstein today announced that she will now support the bill. “I will vote for this bill,” Feinstein said in a statement late today. “It is a substantial improvement. There are three basic changes. They are specific. They do improve the bill. I think it’s important to get this done, and there is a four-year sunset, so we will also be able to watch it closely.”
