Well, as we have no proof of the ‘secret’ ordination of the so-called bishop, and as she can’t be a bishop anyway, a woman not being valid matter for the sacrament of Holy Orders, and likewise the priests couldn’t be valid priests even if there was a valid bishop involved, it’s all just a silly little bit of play-acting really. Nothing to get upset over.

Pray that these people will come in from the playground some day and get back to the serious business of living out their true callings, whatever they may be, in the Church.

If I’m not mistaken, the last time they did this they were excommunicated–so they can’t even be called Catholic anymore.

The hatred and contempt of the world for the Church is clearer every day. These bozo’s are only convincing themselves into thinking they are still catholic. The ordination of women is one of the things that will lead to the worship of Antichrist.

I heard that St. Brigid of Ireland was ordained a Catholic Bishop and later removed by another Pope of that time.
It’s believable because Celtic history shows equality of women with men back in the day.

There is also a website that advertises married male Roman Catholic priests…so are they for real?

I am not saying I am for women priests or married priests…I’m hoping that we get ordain new priests and maybe get international ones.

Also, why aren’t male “priests” who commit crimes, break vows of chasity, etc…why aren’t they excommunicated too. These actions are pure evil too. This evil have caused the general Catholic population to go towards the ideas of married priests or women clergy. I can’t believe that the Eucharist was consecrated by someone who was pure evil. These men were not priests to begin with. Same as if it was a police officer, teacher etc…These people entered these vocations inorder to do evil.

If that is the case, then anyone can be a priest. Once a priest always a priest…then it must be true of the ones who left priesthood to get married.

Amen!

This group you have found a website for a men who have left the Church and gotten married.

The celibate priesthood is a matter of discipline. The male only priesthood is a dogma. They are different.

Married men can be and have been ordained to the priesthood. This is the tradition in the Byzantine Catholic Churches. The Roman Catholic Church has ordained married men after they have been dispensed from the disicipline by the Pope. They are converts who were ministers in their protestant Churches, usually Anglican/Episcopal.

Once a man is ordain he can never marry. Holy Orders are an impediment to Marriage. So these priests you found a website for are not really married and are living in sin.

Nope, whoever told you that didn’t have a clue about what they were talking about

Define ‘equality’.

Was a Celtic female ruler ever called a ‘king’, or was it a queen that had full authority?

Were any Celtic women ever installed with the title of ‘King’? Nope, and St. Bridget of Kildare was installed as an Abbess, which is a distinct office from a Bishop. Even ‘back in the day’ we Celts understood that there ARE differences between men and women. 😉

It gives one pause that menopause tends to be behind them - what’s with (so many of) that generation ? Of course it’s also nice to see that it’s a post-retirement activity and not teeming with 20-somethings.

I’m glad someone posted this.

This topic of women in the Priesthood bothers me. I don’t have an issue with female clergy, in fact I feel very indebted to a Sister for her guidance and teaching. What really bothers me is this idea that someone from outside Holy Mother Church thinking he or she can tell me (us) how to worship. Is it fair that women can’t be priests, I don’t know. But no one is stopping women from serving in other and equally important ways.

Wouldn’t a better title for this thread be 'Female who thinks she’s a Bishop pretends to ordain women who wish they could be priests"?

Here is a Canadian newspaper article about the event:
Sudbury woman ‘ordained’ priest

Apparently a documentary will be broadcast about one of the women.
Sudbury, eh?

Well, the secular media stikes again, with their anti-Catholic fiction: "Sudbury’s Marie Evans Bouclin has become the second woman in Canada to be ordained a Roman Catholic priest. " the article begins. Pure fantasy, but a dig at the Church.

The documentary will be on a cable netword set up by syncretistic spiritualist bureaucrats, who are themselves none too kindly disposed to anyone who holds to spiritual beliefs because they think them to be true. Good place for it.

Blessings,

Gerry
