Let’s not go from one extreme to another. Not everyone is doing this and we never lived in a time where there was no sin. Pray for these people. This is really sad, and a comment on the brokenness of western culture.
We’re living in neo-pagan times. We Catholics must stay strong and support each other now and during the coming duress.
I am forced to agree with Capt America. These are only symptoms of a deeper sickness. The symptoms will increase as they do with any sickness once realized is there. It is possible to heal but it will take time (as this didnt happen overnight) and the willingness of Christianity to work for that healing rather than sit on the sidelines and watch and to take our faith seriously (which I believe is part of that sickness).Let’s not go from one extreme to another. Not everyone is doing this and we never lived in a time where there was no sin. Pray for these people.
There will be no coming duress unless we do not form Men’s Groups, Women’s Groups, and Children’s Groups. Jesus told us trials would come.
Peace,
Ed
Note the organization claimed the protests were against the Vatican’s objections to abortion. While this is truly egregious and disrespectful behavior, it is inspired by the same baby killing obsession that has gripped the Left in this country as well. Watch Sarah Silverman do her schtick to support abortion rights…or for the Left Abortion Rites. They worship false gods and this is what results. Truly sad that a young and foolish woman is used in such a fashion. She has no idea how she’s being exploited.
Rotten evil.A demonic demonstration of pure evil.
They think these tactics are no different than the suffragettes who chained themselves to government buildings in protest. What I don’t understand is how they think running naked into a church and behaving like a lunatic is “freeing,” or somehow a good form of protest. And anyone who advocates “sextremism” lacks credibility in my book. I truly do not understand the extreme feminist argument. They want rights, but by parading around naked and doing these things, they are only reinforcing stereotypes and supporting the sexist ideas of women as spectacle, of “selling sex.” It does not make sense.
If they want to support women’'s rights, they can start by covering up, and acting with reserve and decency. Acting like respectable, intelligent, tolerant human beings goes a lot further than acting like this. No one is really going to listen to “shock tactics” like this; they are only going to laugh at them, be disgusted by them, or dismiss them altogether. And if they want the Church to change its policy (Which it won’t), crashing one of our most important Holy Days and disrespecting our faith is not a good impression.
