An analysis by the Cardinal Newman Society shows that most Catholic colleges offering contraceptive coverage do so because of a state mandate or medical reasons but not for birth control purposes.

It is really sad that any Catholic college offers birth control coverage. Catholic colleges should not be doing this even if it means violating the law by not doing so. We are obligated to disobey unjust laws. For example, if a law was passed forbidding Catholics to go to Mass, we would still be obligated to go to Mass even though that would mean violating the law.
