Well, that is interesting. And a very desperate tactic, which in my opinion, puts the whole thing in perspective. This is nothing more than an attempt to divide the Church. The Devil is hard at work.

I find it very odd that no one else has weighed in on this.
There are a couple of other threads about this filial correction where the posts are in the hundreds.
Here, crickets.

I guess this doesn’t fit the agenda of those who think this was a good thing.

Seems quite likely!
Who knows though? I shared the information and I pray that it helps fellow members discern better what they choose to accept.

Now that the document is public, anyone whose signatures may have falsely used can speak out.
The confusion is harmful to the Church.
I pray that all will be resolved according to the Holy Spirit.

I guess my question is how did the names get on it to begin with? If you think you are right, there is no need to embellish.

I don’t know how someone would add their name to this document. The OP article doesn’t give much info…I wondered if Alejandro’s name had a notation next to it saying he was the Executive Director of CNA, or if there is someone else out there signed it who has the same name - not likely.

I think the signature process was flawed. But what was that process… I don’t know.

The confusion started with the manipulation of the Synod; the refusal of the pope to show the slightest respect to his cardinals with their dubia; the refusal of the pope to address legitimate questions about his document while having plenty of time to trash traditional Catholics with truly deplorable frequency.

This is off topic. :woman_shrugging:What does this have to do with false signatories to the document in question?

Did you complain about the poster above who said the devil was behind the filial correction?

A man’s name got put on this document saying he supported the position taken in the letter. He did not. That, in my book, is a lie. What do you call it?

Is this for me?

Anyway, that comment was in the context of the false signatories, so that’s what I took it to refer to.
