Popes don’t teach by non-magisterial, off the cuff remarks on planes, press interviews, or unofficial letters/notes that say yes, that interpretation works.

The whole AL drama has been marked by deliberate ambiguity to blur the lines.

If the author credibly states a particular understanding of his formal Exhortation is in accord that is good enough for me as a truthseeker.

Neither is something false because the specialist exceeds our lay credibility limits and directs us in a gentle non confrontational manner accordingly.
This will be seen as normal within 15 years…just as you yourself do re usury and many many regularly occuring changes in teaching since the time of Jesus.
Then show where a prior Pope formally and publicly
changed and taught against the ancient tradition of never allowing the remarried access to Communion?
Do you know of such a case…Ghosty and I have been unable to come up with one?

Well I dont understand your need to universalise your own personal experience to everybody else.

Speaking for myself I have been helped considerably by his non magisterial off the cuff teachings. I believe others have too.

Irrelevant whether people have been “helped.” His off the cuff remarks do not in any way equal binding magisterial teachings.
