Finally got my baptism and confirmation tonight!

It was out of this world, a great evening. My baptism and confirmation saint is Pius (Pius X).

However I messed up at one point, I was the first of us there to be baptised and the first to be confirmed. During the confirmation, the bishop said “peace be with you” and I responded with “and with your spirit.” Everyone after me said “And peace be with you.”
I messed up so bad, trying to take it all in and being nervous! 😊

Actually, our candidates were instructed to say “And with your spirit” in response as you did. I don’t think you messed up at all.

Congratulations! I had my baptism and confirmation as well. It was an amazing night. At my parish we were told to respond with " And with your spirit" . Wonder why it was different. Anyway I wouldn’t worry about that. Again Congrats.
