Why does everyone keep calling this site New Age? What is New Age about it?
If we were always in prayer, then it’s power is next to none. If we were always in prayer, then what does this say about the power of God?
Most people are letting the words go in one ear and out the other when they are at mass. Their prayers, if that is even what they are thinking about, are hardly meaningfull.

I could go into details in the Bible and the Church Fathers where we are forbidden to have anything to do with fortunetellers and people who try to manipulate the natural order through any form of wizardry or witchcraft (even if it’s called “meditation”) But, Instead, I’ll simply state that what that website is promoting used to be part of my family’s “family business” before it was called “New Age”.
I watched my mother do readings, palmistry, Astrological Charts and such like. I used to be able to tell people details about themselves that I shouldn’t have known - The “gift” (actually a curse because of the demon which came with it) which came from my mother’s side of the family didn’t come from the Holy Spirit but from the Father of Lies and the one the New Agers call “The Morning Star” instead of our Lord Jesus who is the real Bright and Morning star (See Rev. 2:28 & 22:16).
Please, listen to your brothers and sisters in Christ and avoid that Website.
Brother, how do you know that most of the “people (at Mass) are letting the words go in one ear and out the other”? How do you know that many of these are participating in the Mass and getting what they need from the prayers and the sermon?
You’re responsible for whether or not you participate and how much, and how much you get out of the Mass - Not whether those around you participate, or even listen. Please understand, God can work with us as long as we get ourselves into positions (Such as at Mass) where He can, and are willing to keep our hearts and mind open so that He can work on us.
Just so you know, I’m half-deaf and have a hard time staying awake as I have a hard time getting to sleep (and make a 10 am Mass because I do get a lot out of it). I’m agraid that you would see me nodding off and judge me as letting the Mass go in one ear and out the other.
BTY, What do your judgements about your fellow parishioners have to do with whether or not the Website is “New Age” or “Wolves in Sheeps’ clothing” or not?
