First Comes Gay Marriage then Comes Bestiality in Massachusetts
By Hilary White

BOSTON, November 17, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Four legislators in Massachusetts are quickly following up on their success at legalizing homosexual unions by pushing for softening laws against other forms of sexual deviance. They have introduced a bill that proposes to reduce the penalties associated with the state’s criminal prohibition on sex acts with animals.

The four Democrat legislators, Cynthia S. Creem, Robert A. O’Leary, Michael E. Festa, David P. Linsky, are all vocal supporters of abortion, homosexual unions, and are all endorsed by all three of Massachusetts’ gay lobby groups.

Well, at least it only involves one soul being lost, not two…

let’s just hope they don’t let these interspecies couples adopt.

personally i think anyone who has sex with animals is REALLY perverted…I just cant see how you could have sex with something who cant consent or have any emotional connection with you whatsoever. I dont care what people do sexually as long as they arent hurting any body, but I consider this cruelty to animals and therefore am against it.

This is why I say “Culture of Perversion” instead of “Culture of Death” in this forum. The Culture of Death is only one aspect of the Pervsion that is associated with the Moral Relativism that is pervasive in society today.

Amazing. The slippery slope associated with allowing gay marriages was readily apparent to anyone with an honest mind, but I always figured that polygymy was the next step. This ridiculous proposal could work wonders, though. I have often felt that the only the possible of stopping the slippery slope effect is when it goes to fast. For example, the US Supreme Court sanctioned involuntary sterilization as a result of pro-eugenic lobbyists. With the outbreak of WWII and the Nazi party; however, we were quick to destroy all forms of eugenics in our own country. This would not have happened had Hitler not taken eugenics too far too quickly. Without WWII, the US would embrace eugenics as readily as stem cell research.

Hopefully there will be a firm reaction against this UNNECESSARY REMARK (to save the moderator time and effort). Maybe it could really start a movement against these crazy policies. Then again, it could be passed, so let’s pray that it won’t.

The bill would amend the Massachusetts penal code to give judges the option of imposing only a fine or an eighteen-month sentence in local jails for those convicted. It reads, “Whoever commits a sexual act on an animal shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for not more than 20 years or in a house of correction for not more than 2 ½ years, or by a fine of not more than $5,000, or by both such fine and imprisonment.”
This sounds well short of legalizing bestiality. I think the title that LifeSite gave this article is misleading.

That is how they get away with it. Little by little until it is too late.

Two consenting adults in love…beastiality…they are hardly connected. I am so sick of people saying that same-sex marriage is going to lead to people having sexual relations with their dog. It just shows that people will stop at nothing to induce fear and uphold a long standing and dangerous prejudice.

Did anyone actually read the article? The measures being taken are actually rather reasonable. It is reducing the penalty of beastiality to a fine or 18 months. Before that they could recieve up to 20 years! People who rape human beings don’t even get sentenced that much time! And don’t you think its time adultery and fornication be decriminalized?

People who engage in beastiality need mental help…not two generations in a prison cell. The fact that this article tries to mislead the reader into thinking that gay marriage is leading to the acceptance of beastiality just shows how desperate and outright cruel people can be.

quite
the PETA people should be very upset because this legislation is about animal welfare and preventing abuse of animals. I stopped getting Best Short Stories of the Year when this anthology featured two stories about sex with chickens. If that is the future of the American short story I will start learning another language.

I think those that make perverse laws are putting their own soul in danger as well as the sick person that carries out these vile acts.

If such a thing ever became legal, imagine what new STDs could be introduced into our own species.

STD’s would be the least of it. What of other diseases that may mutate. Some are panicing on the “Avian Flu” possibilities. This opens people up to alot more.

We’ve gone from defining marriage as public policy to one based on “love” which is completely subjective. Can you tell us how the state, where same-sex marriage is allowed, can tell someone that they can’t “love” their animal? That they aren’t entitled to the same benefits as any other married person, since these marriages are based on the same subjective criteria?

When my clients at the tax office would ask, “can I get another exemption for my cat,” I would usually deadpan, “do you have your cat’s social security card with you?”

Gosh, I don’t know. Some of the names on those cards were pretty random – it was hard to imagine actual children with some of those names. 😃

I suggest that you read Humana Vitea. Birth control, lead to abortion, abortion leads to same sex sex, and same sex sex leads to beastiality. Preversion leads to greater preversion. It is preverse to play god with your sexuality with birth control and one preverse act leads to the next. Same sex attraction is a disorder. It needs to be helped to overcome. It should not be normalized. Sex is one of the greatest gifts that God has given to the couple a man and a woman. It is meant to be unitive and procreative not a sport.
I also suggest that you read the Pope’s book The Theology of the Body.
I pray for the lost soul who carry the cross of same sex attraction.

Well said…especially about the part about raping humans. Now dont get me wrong, I dont support bestiality, but its 10 times sicker and morally destructive then gay marriage.

Please explain to me how abortion leads to gay sex…its rather beyond me, escpecially considering that homosexual sex has been around considerably longer than abortion…

Sad, but even now, I daresay many liberals and progressives will deny that promoting one form of deviance will lead to another.

I suppose it will take Satan himself decked out in red, with horns and a trident apperaing at a NAMBLA rally before they get a clue.

Ah, makes me just wanna get off this planet… I consider those who have died before me quite lucky.

Nope, bestiality is a crime in Iowa!
717C.1 Bestiality.

2. A person who performs a sex act with an animal is guilty of an aggravated misdemeanor.
  1. Upon a conviction for a violation of this section, and in addition to any sentence authorized by law, the court shall require the person to submit to a psychological evaluation and treatment at the person’s expense.
