First Friday and Saturday

I echoed this to ask the same question. There are always things to learn.

I’ve spent the last hour trying to find out via google. Nothing yet.

I’d guess it has something to do with the Liturgy of the Hours, but not sure.

Well, you’ve got my curiosity as well.

I pray the Liturgy of the Hours which consists of several “Offices”
Readings, Morning, Mid Morning, Mid Day, Mid Afternoon, Evening, and Night Prayer. Don’t see how this fits.

There is also something known as “The Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary” (not part of the regular LOH) which has Morning and Evening Prayer. Don’t see how that fits either.

Sometimes, the Alliance Devotion includes prayers to the Nine Choirs of Angels. Never heard that described a s Offices though.
