While I don’t agree with the politics of the current administration, I certainly wouldn’t be booing, that’s very disrespectful of the office of President.

After listening to the video, I didn’t think the booing was particularly loud, and it may have only been a very small minority.

When did she become president?
She’s married to the President of the United States and calls The White House home, that’s enough for me to be respectful if I was in her presence.

Agreed. I listened to the video and didn’t hear anything that was exceptionally notable.

I find booing a person distasteful. Even if that person was an ax murder.

HOWEVER. I find it absolutely abhorrent for a “celebrity” to use a venue that is NOT their own. If someone made a speech about any political topic…even the Pope…and I did not go to see them I’d me sorely tempted to boo. There is a time and place for everything and it is shameful that someone turned a sporting event into a political platform. COMPLETELY innapropriate.

She is the first lady. She deserves the respect due her position. Booing is uncalled for and shows how far our society has gone from being a polite one.
I can’t find anything in her political actions that are commendable, but booing her is disrespectful and beneath the dignity of Christians.

Didn’t sound to me like many were booing.

But some, I guess; perhaps those who recall being denigrated as those who “cling to their guns and bibles” by her husband, and who heard their country being called a “mean country” by Ms. Obama herself, couldn’t restrain themselves from returning the compliments in kind.

Still, it was rude.

"First Lady Michelle Obama and Second Lady Jill Biden were booed at the Homestead-Miami Speedway Sunday, where they were present to Grand Marshall the final races of the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

*They were also visiting to raise support for a White House initiative that encourages businesses to hire veterans.

What boorish, un-patriotic, and un-American behavior… booing the First Lady. 😦
Classy. I wonder how many folks had Confederate flags on their tee-shirts?

pooor bobo got upset by a question. been projecting your thoughts into my head as to what you thought I was thinking? do this alot do you? 🤷
Not a lot, only to people who make inane and catty remarks.

It would be tough to be a politician or married to one. Not all that great to see. But chuckled at this article, it is all just a misunderstanding, the crowd was not booing.

“Gee, What Voting Demographic is the White House Targeting This Month?”

Excerpt:
Yesterday, Michelle Obama participated in the “gentleman, start your engines” tradition at a NASCAR race (contrary to rumor, the crowd wasn’t booing — they were chanting “Let’s MOOOOOVE!”).
On top of that, tonight is “country music night” at the White House:

Most followers of NASCAR are southern Democrats turned Repubican and tend to be very conservative on social and fiscal issues. They are also emotional folks that have a strong connection to the military. It is apparent that this “cause” that the Obama’s have taken up is an election year poly to try to pull military/veteran votes. They have done NOTHING for the military other than this. When was the last time you heard of Michelle or Barack visiting wounded soldiers at Bethesda? Its right down the street. Bush used to go visit wounded soldiers all the time. This Administration is using returning veterans as a voting ploy and its disgusting. I would have booed if I was there.
