How would anyone know from the Apprentice that Mr. Trump gives millions to charity? If you have ever seen the apprentice you know he gives millions to charity.
How would we know he gives millions to charity without seeing his tax returns? He makes a lot of claims, but he does not have much credibility when it comes to being completely truthful. If you have ever seen the apprentice you know he gives millions to charity.
She released her tax return so we can find out what deductions she took. We don’t know anything about Trumps tax situation except for what he’s told us. I’ll believe he’s under audit when he releases a letter from the IRS stating he is in audit (shouldn’t be too hard to do).The point is everyone benefits from a convoluted tax code with loopholes. Do you know ANYONE who has run for President that hasn’t? Does any one think Hillary doesn’t have deductions, or find loopholes? Is every deduction I take a shot at my moral compass? Of course not. I give him credit for actually addressing something that most folks avoid.
Countless times on the celebrity apprentice he promised to match a raised amount or throw a couple hundred thousand to a loser’s cause. If he didn’t follow through I’m betting we would have heard about it. I’m sure it was from one of his foundations and rob ably not a personal check or anything…How would anyone know from the Apprentice that Mr. Trump gives millions to charity?
He hasn’t even donated to his own charitable foundation, the Trump Foundation, since 2008. Instead, the Trump Foundations gives to charitable causes from the money that other rich people donate to it, but it’s not money from Mr. Trump’s own pocket.

In May, under pressure from the news media, Donald Trump made good on a pledge he made four months earlier: He gave $1 million to a nonprofit group helping veterans’ families.
Before that, however, when was the last time that Trump had given any of his own money to a charity?
If Trump stands by his promises, such donations should be occurring all the time. In the 15 years prior to the veterans donation, Trump promised to donate earnings from a wide variety of his moneymaking enterprises: “The Apprentice.” Trump Vodka. Trump University. A book. Another book. If he had honored all those pledges, Trump’s gifts to charity would have topped $8.5 million.

Records show Trump has given nothing to his foundation since 2008.
Clintons donated 1,042,000.00 to charity in 2015. One million of it to Clinton Foundation. She released her tax return so we can find out what deductions she took. We don’t know anything about Trumps tax situation except for what he’s told us. I’ll believe he’s under audit when he releases a letter from the IRS stating he is in audit (shouldn’t be too hard to do).
And yet 96% of Clinton’s charitable contributions when to her own charity. I find it less than authentic, but don’t generally care what people do with their money or what deductions they take, except when we decide to start making it a campaign issue. From the Washington Post:

Trump’s charitable giving has been investigated and it appears that he claims he’s going to give to charities but often doesn’t follow through.
Since you obviously haven’t read her return over a month since its release, your urgent desire to see Trump’s seems a bit fake, especially since the whole thing is a distraction anyway. She released her tax return so we can find out what deductions she took. Clinton giving 96% to her own charity (including last year) is still a lot better than Trump who hasn’t given to his own charity since 2008 and no evidence that he’s given much charity anywhere else since then either. And yet 96% of Clinton’s charitable contributions when to her own charity. And where is the scrutiny, as pointed out below, for Clinton that Romney received (on this board too!) for giving so much to the Mormon Church? A little consistency, please.
Must be the week that Rasmussen is credible again. It appears that Clinton is definitely getting a bounce from the debate. According to RealClearPolitics, Clinton is +1 in today’s Rasmussen Reports Poll which is pretty good for Clinton on that poll since on their last poll on September 22, Trump was +5.

Meanwhile, I’m too busy looking at serious ideology differences and policy changes I’d expect to care much about their charitable donations. But do continue. And do so while defending Clinton from doing the same thing the last Republican nominee did.Clinton giving 96% to her own charity (including last year) is still a lot better than Trump who hasn’t given to his own charity since 2008 and no evidence that he’s given much charity anywhere else since then either.
Yes, but there is a difference between microeconomics and macroeconomics, or at least they are studied separately. Trump has had not really been involved in the latter, but he would be if elected into a national office. The difference being that Trump has not sold his country’s interests and influence for money.
Waco is one of those stories that make you go hmmm. I tend to think Hillary had her opinions and shared them, The fact that she wasn’t holding any office, but could have some kind of authority is an abomination. The truth about Waco - By the FBI investigator himself entitled "Waco a New Revelation " can be found online (can go to Paladin Press to get it). It’s disturbing. House Rep investigator T. March Bell told Newsmax.com that phone logs from Hillary, Vince Foster and Assoc.Attorney General Webbell show they were coordinating the White Houses response during the Waco attack. This was all reported in an AFPN article in 2001. Bell said it was Hillary who pressured Reno to act. During an interview in early February 2001 former White House aide Linda Tripp alleged that Hillary pressured the late Vincent Foster to resolve the Waco standoff and while appearing on CNN’s ‘Larry King Live’ Tripp suggested that Foster, at Hillary’s direction, transmitted the order to move on the Branch Davidian’s Waco compound. The entire truth about Waco will never be known. We do know that in 1992 Bill did say ‘we would be getting two for the price of one’.You believe the First Lady has the authority to order federal agents? This smacks of conspiracy nonsense. Why would the FBI or ATF agent take orders from a first lady?
Can you produce a record of the testimony in questoin? I did a search for it, but wasn’t able to locate anything.
I think that discrepancy you point out comes into focus when he makes policy suggestions that might make sense for a company but make no sense for a nation, like his proposal to refinance U.S. debt.Yes, but there is a difference between microeconomics and macroeconomics, or at least they are studied separately. Trump has had not really been involved in the latter, but he would be if elected into a national office.
As opposed to the opinion of someone hardcore right wing?LOL Howard Fineman is hardcore left wing! I wouldn’t put much stock in his opinion
I don’t know if she has but if Omarosa says so.How would anyone know from the Apprentice that Mr. Trump gives millions to charity?

I read her income and what she paid in taxes, that’s all I wanted to know. Trump on the other hand bragged that not paying taxes makes him smart. Guess I’m stupid because I pay mine.Since you obviously haven’t read her return over a month since its release, your urgent desire to see Trump’s seems a bit fake, especially since the whole thing is a distraction anyway.
Should he release his returns, from a PR perspective? Sure, even though he knows they will get far more scrutiny than Hillary “I essentially deducted everything I donated to my own charity” Clinton.
Does he owe you anything? No, which is why demands are silly arguments. Saying "it would be nice if " or “I think it reflects poorly” is fine. Continuing the narrative that he somehow has to is pointless, especially since those same folks are waiting to use his return to bludgeon him over the most trivial things (see Romney, Mitt).
We have heard about it. I think it was the Washington Post that followed up on them and found that the payments were actually made by the company that produces the show and not by Trump personally.Countless times on the celebrity apprentice he promised to match a raised amount or throw a couple hundred thousand to a loser’s cause.
