Just a reminder that tomorrow Saturday May 4, 2013, is the First Saturday in May 2013. Our Lady requested reparation to her Immaculate Heart on the First Saturdays by recitation of the Rosary, Confession, Communion, and to keep her company by meditation for 15 minutes on the Mysteries of the Rosary.

Just reflecting on how beautiful and wonderful God’s creation is when man cooperates with Him in putting in proper order what has been entrusted to us.

Just a reminder that this Saturday, June 1 2013 is the First Saturday of June 2013. Our Lady requested reparation to her Immaculate Heart on First Saturdays - especially by 5 consecutive, with the following devotion:
  1. Receive Holy Communion
  2. Make a good Confession ( within 8 days)
  3. Recite 5 decades of the Rosary
  4. Meditate on the Mysteries of the Rosary for 15 minutes while keeping the Blessed Mother company
  • all with the intention of reparation to her Immaculate Heart.
What a wonderful devotion! And what a duty we always have to serve Our Lord and Our Lady in this life, but in faith and the hope of eternal life with God.

Hope and pray for you to make this devotion.

How the Church seems divided in two camps with traditionalists, and those who promote the new liturgy. But then there is Our Lady, whose whole life must have been in complete liturgical perfection, her every action, her every prayer.

my eldest daughter is 8 and just made her first holy communion. i helped her do the first saturday devotion in June, i intend doing this with all 4 of my kids, please God, as they all make their first communion.

Dear those faithful to God,

This Saturday is the First Saturday of July 2013. Our Lady requested reparation to her Immaculate Heart on the First Saturdays in the following ways:
  1. To received Holy Communion
  2. To go to Confession (within 8 days)
  3. To Recite 5 decades of the Rosary
  4. to spend 15 minutes keeping her company by meditating on the Mysteries of the Rosary
  5. All in repartation to the sins commited against her Immaculate Heart

We must always trust in God and His infinite wisdom and goodness towards us… and the greater the hardships which we endure for Him, the greater the consolations which He give us.

Yesterday was the First Saturday of August 2013.

The First Saturdays are devotional days of reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, by making a good Confession, receiving Holy Communion, reciting 5 decades of the Rosary, and keeping Our Lady company while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary.

A Reflection - as the People of God, who is of the highest honor? Is it not Our Lady? 🙂
 
Hope many are able to make the First Saturdays Devotion today or yesterday. Pope Francis I held a beautiful and solemn prayer vigil in Rome for peace. Reflecting, many important spiritual events in the Church happen on this day devoted to reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

It is so very important not to wax and wane in confidence and devotion to Our Lady; not to be a false devotee to her as the saint has briliantly stated:

“They are as changeable as the moon, and like the moon Mary puts them under her feet.”

Please consider making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on this day - and if you have not made the Five First Saturdays Devotion please prayerfully consider a commitment to this!

A brief reflection on the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that:

" 2599 The Son of God who became Son of the Virgin learned to pray in his human heart. He learns to pray from his mother, who kept all the great things the Almighty had done and treasured them in her heart"

A little reflection and point of interest for those devoted to the Immaculate Heart -

It is interesting and profound to consider the life and preaching and and effect of St. Louis de Montfort - as providence would have it - especially on the people of the Vendee in France. This is the more awe inspiring when considering their courage in facing the sweeping darkness that was the French Revolution.
