First time attending a Roman Catholic Mass and I have some questions

If you join in the Lord’s prayer pause on the last line-many Catholic churches stop before the last line while the priest says a blessing and then all continue with the last line. I don’t think that is everywhere though.
Yes, it’s everywhere. While still including it for ecumenical purposes the church separated it to make clear that the “last line” isn’t actually part of the our father.

See my other post below, too because just yesterday I attended mass where we went all the way through without the “embolism” from the priest ( I learned a new word today-well a new meaning for a word “embolism” is apparently what it is called when the priest says the prayer before the end " for the kingdom and the power…").

We were all floundering to get it right without the embolism 🙂
