Now, JKirk, this is what I mean when I say that traditionalists are painted with a broad brush. Just because you and TNT are disagreeing, doesn’t mean that all traditionalists should be labelled with the same opinions. Really, I am surprised at you.
And that, dear friend, is why I put “traditionalists” in quotes.

May I suggest you put me on yur Ignore list.

Ps,
Isn’t your Sig from a Protestant?
And does the Omnibus part mean many or all?
I recently tried to get someone to put me on his ignore list. Didn’t work. What’s with people? 🤷 I love the ignore feature.😃

Had to look it up again, but Blessed John XXIII used it in his encyclical Ad Petrum Cathedrum.

But seriously…if “traditionalists” can question the immutability of head covering (which the Church has dealt with), why can’t an ordinary Catholic raise a question about adequacy? Seems fair to me, doesn’t it to you?
When Old Paul says:
But every woman praying or prophesying with her head not covered, GLORIFIES her head:

Instead of:
Cor 11:5 But every woman praying or prophesying with her head not covered, DISGRACES her head:

I’ll be right there mutatin with ya.

But the Church, the final authority on what Scripture means (can Scripture mean what the Church says it doesn’t mean?) has said that it is a matter of discipline on which the Church can make a change, a matter which is not immutable. So has the Church lead the faithful into impiety? Do we accept your interpretation of things or the Holy See’s? You see the quandry the ordinary Catholic is in over these questions.

No, dear, I merely pointed out a “downside” to the ignore feature.
Oh but the benefits are wonderful! Like avoiding the near occasion of sin, and not having to put up with people who are always on the attack. Unless of course, they go and create two new identities and use those to attack you simultaneously.

I don’t really think it’s a sin, to correct misinformation.

Now it’s my turn: are you saying that I have two ideas and jumped you about something?

Hardly…she don’t mean you…we’re still waitin on the first “idea” to hatch…a good one.

Not at all. I haven’t had you on ignore for eons.😉 I would have to PM you about my little size 1 font. It’s not you I was referring to at all.

Listen…
I’m a Sede, so the “church” of mutation has no authority…See?

I didn’t realize you’d crossed over, TNT, I AM sorry to hear it. You’re in my prayers.

Well, you oughta report whoever it is. Right is right and fair is fair and that ain’t right and it ain’t fair.
