I find the information on the site edifying, however I do not like the pretense of catering to schismatic groups.

I apologize for any mini-debate caused by my comments and the wording of them, so I’ll have to give up on this thread. Again, I’m sorry. :o 😦

Why are you dissapointed? That is a fact. The Novus ordo is indeed a fabrication.

The Holy Fatehr, as Cardinal Ratzinger said so himself.
The word fabrication itself does have a negative connotation, since it can be taken to mean as fake, manufactured, even forged, which are hardly reverent in describing a valid liturgy of the Church and on the contrary tends to diminish respect for it. It doesn’t really take much effort to understand the intended meaning of the priest in that article. I doubt if this priest and the holy father are really of the same mind since Benedict should have, at the very least granted a universal indult on the day he took office, if indeed the Pope was of such mind. And Benedict XVI I believe also celebrates the NO mass.

I subscribe to Zenit daily, thank you for your concern, but you are still not going to reduce me from a generic CAtholic to some sub-class of hyphenated Catholic.
You mean like an Am-Church Catholic? Ok, I won’t.
🙂

The Priest there is Fr. Robert J. Levis (That priest who co-hosts the program Web of Faith with Fr. John Trigilio in EWTN).

I guess the answer to this question is to ask Fr. Levis or some other one himself.

I’m afraid this thread is drifting away from the topic. Can someone please create a new one and move our discussion about this one there?

How does one put Vatican alerts on a toolbar?
Enroll on the my.yahoo.com and seek out or search any article on the Pope or Vatican. (It shouldn’t be too hard.) Chances are that you will be prompted to have any Vatican (or other) news releases sent to you by email.

If you do it right, you will be flooded with emails. Why would you want it on your toolbar?

This thread has gone off topic and is now closed. If you wish to discuss any of the side issues brought up in it, please feel free to start other threads. Thank you to all who participated.
