Cruelty to animals is not good or funny. Just because worse things are occurring in the world doesn’t mean we shouldn’t care.
I’m a New Englander. Sticking a lobster in a pot of boiling water is, quite frankly, far quicker and should cause far less “pain” than prying their shell and severing their brain. They are dead as soon as they hit the water. The “screaming” noises are going to happen whether or not the lobster is “dead” before you put it in the pot. It’s a result of gasses excaping from the hard shell.

Please, everyone, do stay away from my friends the squid and octopus.

Believe it or not, they are far more intelligent than people even realize, though they are already known for being one of the smartest animals.

Last of all, they are our guests, being actually aliens from neighboring galaxies, alhough this is generally not known. Therefore, these amazing creatures deserve our hospitality and not our dinner plates.

With questions like this I always like to ask why you think it could be a sin?

Gee whiz!!! I sure do hope and pray that those of you who are losing sleep over whether fish, lobster and other delicious seafood are suffering, are just as, or let’s rephrase that, MORE concerned about the excruciating pain and suffering that the innocent unborn feel, as they’re being ripped from their mother’s womb.

God gave us dominion over the animals to use for our needs. Unnecessary cruelty is wrong, fishing with live bait isn’t unnecessary.

Lobsters are cool. They are kind of like space aliens that half of you CAF’ers seem to believe in. 🙂

We are capable of caring about 2 Issues simultaneously.
Absolutely! However, atleast in America there is a recognition of fetal pain as evidenced by many bills set forth. What is ridiculous is countries “recognizing” pain of hardly-sentient creatures while not doing so for fetal humans.

hooking nightcrawlers for fresh water fishing is not so bad

ever try hooking a bloodworm for salt water fishing?

wow what a bloody mess

but odds are you’ll catch a nice flounder 😉
