FL Melania wears controversial jacket this morning

American citizens can sponsor the spouse for a green card and eventual citizenship.

I don’t know if trump sponsored her.

But you’re correct, it’s not automatic
 
But, but, she still did enter our country illegally not having the correct papers then stayed for awhile while modeling here. This was before she married Mr. Bone Spurs in the first place… The immigration authorities gave her a “Mulligan.” so all is well again with the Trumps.
 
Don’t you miss when the biggest scandal about a FLOTUS dress was it was sleeveless.

Of course it doesn’t reference the immigrant kids, and it’s absurd to claim it does.

I am certain it does convey a message, though (unless she and her staff are spectacularly, amazingly tone-deaf) and it’s likely to do with the media. (Or her awful husband.)

It depends. If it refers to the malicious and vicious outrageous personal attacks on her son and on Ivanka etc., then it is very sensitive, very thoughtful and states her opinion on this issue quite clearly.

Considering she wore it whilst going to see children separated from their families, I would say “insensitive and thoughtless” fits well.

Did she wear it with the children?
She has a right to say she is indifferent to the vicious and malicious obscenities directed at her child and at Ivanka and other members of her extended family.

Well, perhaps she is. However according to the White House there was no meaning behind the jacket. Hence I labelled it insensitive and thoughtless as opposed to something deliberate.

That being said, according to Trump it was about the “fake news media” so who knows what (if any) point there was to it.
 
Good manners dictate that someone in a position of power and wealth be thoughtful when they appear in public. It is the opposite of grace to wear this sentiment when our country is so torn. The optics DO matter, and this was a “Let Them Eat Cake” moment.
 
It’s just the latest “WORST THING EVAH!!!” that “I Really Don’t Care” about.
 
I’d say anyone who takes the time to write this much garbage on a first lady’s jacket is to be pitied.

I found the jacket to be cheesy. I didn’t like some of Michelle Obama’s outfits. In neither case does a well balanced person need read into their outfits and see them as extensions of that person’s issues with their husbands.

Anyone who says Michelle O is classy is sadly wrong. No decent FL would dance like a stupid and vapid rapper on the Ellen show. Very tacky and low class.
 
she wasn’t wearing the jacket while she met with the children. she wore the jacket as she boarded Air Force One and after it landed back in D.C.
i don’t believe she wore it while on the ground in Texas.

What kind of people do you think wear the style Melania was wearing!!?

Think hipsters, rappers, teenage fashionistas, etc. Certainly not staid, upper class society ladies.
 
I am assuming the jacket refers to the media’s fake news of her estrangement from her husband or perhaps the media’s fake news on her husbands collusion with the Russian government to steal the election.

Who knows how many things it can refer to with the aggressive derangement of fake news.

Yeah, millions don’t care about liberals self created delusions.

Their deceitful power is waning, thank the good Lord.
