Florida law shifts burden of proof in 'stand your ground'

Since you know about this more than me (apparently), then by all means enlighten me.

The above sentence is NOT being sarcastic, just in case.

I mean it.

“Stand Your Ground” basically means that you have no duty to retreat before using deadly force to stop what you reasonably perceive to be imminent death or great bodily harm from the actions of an assailant.

It is not a legal defense, rather it is a clarification of your right to self-defense.
