So, we get one side of the story and suddenly this non-denom church is wrong. Church leaders refuse, per FoxNews, to comment. The only quotes are from another news organization. These quotes are fragmented and could be about generally about how the church handles discipline. We only have her side of the story.
Churches have historically discipline in different ways. We do NOT know what specifically this church does as they are not commenting on this particular case/situation.
This board has jumped to a conclusion based on partial information from a woman who rejects biblical teachings and has her own agenda. I bet some here think her kids are very young, but they are actually adults. And I think her “concerns” over their feelings and sensibilities is too little too late.
What we should do is pray for all concerned and wait for all the information. Until then, we should just pray for the Church and this woman to be guided by the Holy Spirit and if any wrong doing has been done…some repenting needs to happen. I pray the Holy Spirit will convict her of her sin and she will repent. She, according to the News article appears not able to repent or possibly willing. If the Church and/or its leaders have sin, then they need to repent. The same article does not reveal any definite “sins” of this church body. Only the word of an unrepentant woman who seems very willing for the world to know about what she has done.
So, let us put up our torches and pitchforks.
And drop those rocks!!!
