Fmr. Komen Foundation insider’s new book will expose
* ‘Planned Bullyhood’***
.
The full story of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation’s
decision to defund Planned Parenthood will be told next month, when former employee Karen Handel releases her new book for Simon & Schuster.
.
The last time I checked, private non-profit organizations have a
* right*** and a responsibility to be able to set the** highest** standards and** criteria** on their own without interference,** let alone the level of vicious attacks** and **coercion **that has occurred by Planned Parenthood. It’s simply outrageous,” she said.

Good for her!

The more light shed, the better!

‘Planned Bullyhood’-oooo, that’s a good one! 👍

Given the history of Planned Parenthood’s founding, some of call it

Klan Barrenhood.

Well, it looks like she’ll make her money…
I’ll certainly buy her book.

👍

Your comment is not even cogent to the discussion. Planned Parenthood kills babies in their mothers’ wombs. What part of that do you not understand?

Planned Parenthood needs to be exposed to a wide audience
Don’t kid yourself. This isn’t about exposing anything. This is an opportunist attempt to play the victim and make some serious money. And she’ll get it because everyone who wants to be seen as against Planned Parenthood will line up at Barnes and Noble to buy the book.

Give the $25 to Birthright or another organization that will actually help women who might otherwise turn to PP instead.

and your judging her motives based on?

human nature and the lure of all the money that she and her publishers can get since she had to leave her job because of all those mean people from planned parenthood.

Sure, I’m a cynic and I’ll cop to that, but it’s always about following the money trail. How long do you think it’s going to be before some publishing house finds a gay CfA employee who was “damaged” by the owner’s remarks and was “forced” to quit his/her job and now is homeless??

Whenever anyone tries to tell you it’s not about the money-it’s ALWAYS about the money.

Considering that Chick-fil-A has never discriminated in any way, I think it’s going to be a long time before “some publishing house” finds such a person.

It’s not always about the money, but that is why Klan Barrenhood fights so hard to protect its interests in killing babies.

Of course it’s about the money. Planned Parenthood does what it does to MAKE MONEY. If there were no money in it, they wouldn’t do it and they wouldn’t fight so hard to keep doing it.

And do you really think the facts are going to matter to the anti-CfA folks if they find a “victim” of the “terrible climate” fostered by the founder of CfA? Of course not, the “victim” will write their book, and will promote it on all the chat shows. Everyone will shake their heads in sympathy and the publishers will walk away laughing with their now rich “victim”.

This is how it works in America. Follow the money.

Forbes reported way back in '07 that CfA had been sued at least a dozen times for employment discrimination since 1988.

🤷

I just think that this is silly. PP didn’t bully them. There is no way that one organization put that much pressure on Komen. It was PP supporters who wrote letters, signed petitions, organized boycotts, etc. It was the work of thousands, if not millions of every day individuals.

But its always easy to have that one dark villain. For a lot of people its planned parenthood. Citizens didn’t exercise their first amendment rights to apply pressure; planned parenthood bullied. Women don’t choose to get abortions because they are pregnant and for whatever reason don’t want to be, planned parenthood kills babies.

I’ve worked in the book publishing business for decades. I’ve seen real numbers across all book categories. Pre-release numbers are now consistently lower regardless of the subject, with the only exceptions being among established authors, like J. K. Rowling. Not only do they see higher pre-release numbers, their track record of producing big hits means publishers know they are taking less risk. Also, these authors are much more likely to get interviewed on TV and elsewhere.

A new book by a new author is likely to see lower pre-release/orders in advance from book wholesalers. And book wholesalers are not required to accept every book they’re asked to distribute, which numbers into the 10s of thousands every year.

Peace,
Ed

I would say an organization that kills bout 500,000 children a year is a dark villain. in fact the\y are a vile evil organization that should be shunned by anyone with even an ounce of morality in them. Komen should hang their head in shame for having anything to do with this evil organization.

And its really easy to say that, but if women didn’t want to “kill their babies” PP wouldn’t exist. Or at least their abortion services wouldn’t. And if PP went away other organizations and doctors would step up to fill the demand.

If you want to blame someone blame the women. PP doesn’t force them to have abortions, the women make the decision and go. But it isn’t as politically correct or as easy to blame the women, especially when 1 in 4 have an abortion at some point in their lives.

The fact that women pay PP to kill their children no more mitigates the evil they do than paying a hitman to kill ones 7 year old would mitigate his actions.

Since Planned Parenthood makes money from each abortion they have a vested interest to keep the women coming in for the abortions. That is why they misinform women, call a baby “a piece of tissue,” do not show women their ultrasounds and advise women not to listen as they locate the baby’s heartbeat.

Women do not deserve to be treated this way. And babies never deserve death before they ever get a chance to live.

Women go in to PP wanting an abortion. Pregnant women do not go there to decide the morality of it. And most women do not want to see ultrasounds or hear heartbeats. PP doesn’t lie. These women are not stupid, they know what they want when they go in. Let’s stop treating women like confused children and start acknowledging that they have been hearing both sides of the debate their entire lives and they are still choosing abortion. They have seen the pictures, heard the vile rhetoric, and still don’t want to be pregnant. Whether you agree with the choice or not let’s at least give women the dignity of owning their choices.

Like many other women if I got pregnant my first call would be to my fiance, my second would be to PP. I don’t need PP to show me ultrasounds or have me listen to a heartbeat. I’m not paying for a morality lesson, just the medical procedure that the SCOTUS says I’m entitled to.

So you know what most women believe, think, and want? The arrogance and negativity of your post is breathtaking. No, “most women” don’t know what they want when they go into Planned Parenthood. They are looking for a way out of a mess, and they’ve been told all their lives that having an abortion will solve the problem. Of course they don’t know that it won’t do that, they won’t know that until afterward. Many women are FORCED to go to Planned UnParenthood, do you not understand that? What choice do you think a woman has when her boyfriend tells her if she doesn’t abort he wants nothing to do with her? Sometimes, her parents take her there. Sometimes, the boyfriend’s parents take her there.

I can’t dialogue with you any more, BEL. Anyone who would so blithely kill their own child, just calling an abortion a “medical procedure,” I don’t know what to say to you. The divide between the way you think and the way I think is just too wide. I will continue to pray for you.
