Garrett should be suspended for the rest of the season. And charged with assault.

TBH, I donā€™t think ā€œthe rest of the seasonā€ is long enough. The regular season is more than half over. Iā€™d be up for something like a rest-of-this-season-plus-all-of-next-season suspension, though, and a significant fine.

Suspend the thug at least through next season. The same thing for that thug From Toledo who put a nasty hit on the quarterback in the game the other night. And both of them should be charged with assault

That NCAA rules only require him to sit out half a game for such a gesture strikes me as being woefully insufficient. šŸ¤Ø (Toledo have announced they will suspend him for the other half as well, due to the egregious nature of the foul.)

There are actually a few people defending him!

Another thug got ejected for a helmet to helmet hit that left Diontae Johnson bleeding from his ear. Diontae has a concussion as does JuJu, a result of another hit to the head.

Garrett is suspended indefinitely. Pouncey is out 3 games (which I think is completely unfair).
 
What specifically is Pouncey being suspended for? I know what I saw, but I would like to hear the ā€œofficialā€ reason.
 
My guess is the kick, but I havenā€™t heard anything specific either
 
What really started it was the late hit on Rudolph when the game was already basically over.
 
Iā€™ll also say here what I said on my FB page. What Garrett did is inexcusable and as a football fan, I think the punishment is deserved. But on a human level, heā€™s a 23 year old man who just screwed things up royally for himself. Thereā€™s nothing to be happy about in that.

That is indeed true, but players do need to be held accountable for their actions on the field.

Which brings me back to Pouncey, who according to ESPN incurred the three-game ban for jumping on, kicking and punching Garrett. If this is completely unfair, what would be a reasonable penalty for these actions?

Larry Ogunjobi only a got a one game suspension. He was the most cowardly of all by pushing Rudolph from behind and knocking him down after Rudolph was hit with the helmet.

Niners disappoint the Cards again in another hard-fought victory. Arizona has more quality than their record this year would indicate.

That last touchdown looked more like rugby to me šŸ‰ šŸ˜‚
 
Canā€™t believe the Broncos blew a 20-point lead, though theyā€™ve had (more than) a few fourth-quarter meltdowns this season šŸ˜’
