I canā€™t stand the Browns, but there have been some really bad calls in this game.

Hoping to watch TNF this week (49ers @ Cardinals) but ā€œThursday nightā€ means ā€œFriday middle-of-the-nightā€ hereā€”game starts at 1:20amā€”so I risk sleeping through All Saints Mass šŸ˜ž
 
My alma mater, Wright State, plays in the National Club Football Association (NCFA). Iā€™m in a Facebook group for the NCFA.

This Saturday, the Raiders were getting beat badly by Ohio Stateā€™s club football team, 46-2, just in the first half. Apparently the Raiders had some injuries and roster concerns, so the game was called with 40 seconds remaining in the first half.

Iā€™m wondering if Wright State will be able to complete their season.

Did anyone see the Texas Tech vs Kansas game? What a wild ending. With 13 seconds left in regulation and the score tied at 34 Kansas had a 40 yard field goal try to win. The kick was blocked and a Texas Tech player grabbed the ball but fumbled it thus turning the ball back to Kansas with 2 seconds left. Kansas now had a second field goal chance to win, this time from the 32 yard line. It was good for a Kansas 37 to 34 win.

It was a good game! But I think all the pregame hype comparing JG to Joe Montana is a little premature!

In other news, Leā€™Veon Bell said that there were several teams interested in trading for him, including the Steelers! Honestly, I would not have minded having him back. Especially since all our RBs seem to be hurt right now. My pastor was at the Monday NIght Game, and hesā€™ lucky they didnā€™t to ask him to suit up, because thereā€™s just NO ONE in the backfield right now. šŸ™‚
 
Ravens were leading the Pats 10-0 when I fell asleep, yet somehow I was surprised when I woke up this morning and saw that theyā€™d actually won. So I watched the highlights video to find out how that happened šŸ˜

As much as I love that the Pats lost, Iā€™m not thrilled it was the Ravens as that doesnā€™t help the Steelers in the AFC North. The Pats have had a cupcake schedule up until now, and itā€™s going to start (finally) getting tougher.

I couldnā€™t even watch because I canā€™t stomach either team! šŸ˜
 
Beggars canā€™t be choosers. Not much gridiron comes across the airwaves here, so I take what I can get even if I donā€™t have a particular interest in either of the teams playing a given game. :woman_shrugging:t2:

That said, I do have my limits. For example, I donā€™t see myself staying up to watch tonightā€™s gameā€¦ šŸ˜œ

Lions lost a tough one yesterday. If Stafford hadnā€™t thrown that pick in the end zone, and it had been a Lions touchdown instead, the outcome might have been different.

If it matters, all four of the Lionsā€™ losses have been on TV locally here in my area (either the Pittsburgh or Clarksburg, WV Fox station for the Sunday games, plus the MNF game on ESPN).
