We wuz robbed. šŸ¦ šŸ˜  A phantom ā€œillegal hands to the faceā€ against the Lions on a critical play.

Then again, if a couple of those Prater field goals had been touchdowns, the Lions would have won easily and we wouldnā€™t be having this discussion.

I was watching the NFL network this morning, and they were saying that the owners have to do something now about the officiating; they canā€™t wait until 2020. I agree with them. It was bad last season too, and almost every team in the league got hosed at one point or another because the refs canā€™t get it right.

And Iā€™m not picking on the Saints, as I know it happened to them too. This is just the one that sticks in my mind as Iā€™m a Steelers fan.

Interesting. I dislocated my left kneecap some years ago and was told that open knee surgery was the only way to repair that. I finally had the operation in 2016; recovery took five months, but Iā€™m not an athlete (anymore).

He looked good walking off the field, so I do hope that itā€™s not too serious. I donā€™t like the Chiefs, but heā€™s exciting to watch.

The Steelers have a bye week, so thatā€™s good.

But in other news, Penn State plays Michigan and Iā€™m already a nervous wreck!

Another big, Big Ten game tonight. (BIG!)

#16 Michigan (5-1) at #7 Penn State (6-0)

PSU -7.5 & win chance 50.5% ā€¦ Last year Michigan won 42-7 in Ann Arbor.

Whoever can win tonight will still have Ohio State late on their schedule which could decide the representative for the Big Ten East in the conference championship.

Speaking of #4 Ohio State, are they the real #1 team in the country, atm?

#6 Wisconsin upset by Illinois! (24-23)

#20 Minnesota about to take control of the Big Ten Westā€¦

What a game for Penn State against Michigan last night! They are #6 on AP poll now. I was a student there so I canā€™t help but crow. šŸ“ We still have a long way to go, though, especially Ohio State. And we canā€™t let anyone upset us like Wisconsin.
 
Yep congrats to Penn State. Now if the Eagles win tonight it will be a great football weekend šŸ˜

Iā€™m sitting there watching the game thinking football is the greatest sport ever!! šŸ˜„ It really was a great game and the Penn State crowd was awesome as usual. But there were a couple early non-calls by the refs that helped Penn State a bit, and thatā€™s something I hate to see happen in any game for either team. But Michigan hung in there, and after some clever halftime adjustments were able to get back into the game and nearly tie it up if their receiver would have caught that 4th down pass in the end zone late in the game. (whew!)

Very excitingā€¦

My mother became a Steelers fan because of Penn Stateā€™s Franco Harris going there.
