It’s weird. They’re saying he wanted to walk, but I think that’s a situation where you absolutely say “NO”. He was at the stadium yesterday for meetings, so he’s up and about. No word yet in when he’ll play again.

I feel so much better now that the Browns got pummeled last night.
And I feel so much better because it was the 49ers doing the pummelling. 😀

4-0 for the first time in 29 years.

Too bad I missed the game itself. Kickoff was at 2:20am my time and I failed to stay awake for more than a few minutes of it because I’m sick. 🤧 😞

Ugh! I hope you feel better! I had bronchitis and an upper respiratory infection about a month ago and it was not fun!

I have to say that I am not an Ohio State fan, but I now really like Nick Bosa! He’s now on the short list with Ryan Shazier and Cam Heyward. 🙂

Thanks :hugs: To be honest, I don’t feel “bad.” Just really, really tired, mainly. It’s just a really unenthusiastic cold, nothing as serious as bronchitis/URI 😮

Really disappointed that I missed seeing Bosa troll Mayfield with his flag-planting gesture 😂

Where I live, they show Dallas Cowboys games for the most part. However, when they are off or on another network, they show a lot of Cleveland games because of Mayfield’s ties to OU, which is the prominent college team in my area that people follow. I’m not a Mayfield fan, either. He’s a little too brash for me.

They also used to show a lot of Vikings games when Adrian Peterson was a star and playing for them. So It’s interesting to see the rationale of TV stations where there is no NFL team in your state as to what games they select to show.

I think Dallas is shown a lot in all areas throughout the country even when they aren’t the feature or primetime game, but they are the feature late afternoon or prime time game a lot. They were known as “Americas team”. I’m not sure if it’s as true as it once was but they still have plenty of fans around the country who aren’t from Dallas. I like when they are on because it gives me a team to root against. Whoever is playing them I am rooting for to beat them, so I was happy Sunday when The Packers beat them and the week before when The Saints beat them. They have an easy game this week against The Jets but the following week a big game on Sunday Night Football against The Eagles. Hopefully the Eagles will go to Dallas and beat them.

Ah, the things I didn’t think about before leaving the US.

Where I live, we get the 3-4 primetime games live each week. All broadcasts begin after 2am; the last game on Sunday (if there is one) starts after 4am on Monday. If you want to watch American football live, you stay up at least half the night and take what you can get regardless of who you actually cheer for (unless you have more money than I do and are willing to pay for Game Pass 💸). I’ve watched football in the middle of the night even when I didn’t have strong feelings about either of the teams involved just because it’s football 🏈 ❤️

The rest of the games are shown in a six-hour-long multiplex on Sunday (coverage bounces around depending upon what’s happening).

That said, I’m actually happy for this system. I don’t think I could take the Cowboys being rammed down my throat week after week after week 😛

Um, do my eyes deceive me or are the Bucs really playing Carolina in London this weekend? 🤔

Lions 🦁 at the Packers on Monday night. Hope the Lions can give me a nice birthday present with a win. (My birthday is Tuesday)

Indeed. The stadium they’re playing in is also: brand spanking new, it has two separate fields and dedicated locker rooms for soccer (English Premier League) and football (NFL). The soccer field splits in three and slides under the stands to reveal the artificial NFL field underneath. I’ve never seen anything like it in Europe.

Well, this means that I get to see an entire game in the middle of the day, so I’m not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Go Panthers 😀

The Eagles schedule is going to be brutal now from here through week 12… and thanks to (once again) key injuries including our 2 starting corners, who knows what to expect.

Meanwhile, Penn State is in good shape at least sitting at 5-0 in the Big Ten and ranked #10 in the country! But tonight’s game at Iowa could be a big test facing their currently 4th ranked defense.

🍻

5-0 for the first time since 1990. Yay Niners 😎:+1:t3: And already more wins than last season
The Penn State game makes me very nervous!
I’m a USC fan. This season, every game makes me very nervous 😞

I thought the Steelers would find a way to lose last night, but they held on. I’m pleased with Devin Bush. He was a great #1 pick.

And the Browns lost. That always makes me happy.

The Jets actually looked good yesterday.
