The Chiefs were just a little bit better in the clutch, but my Lions proved they actually belong in the NFL and can at least give the elite teams a run for their money. Hopefully they will continue to get better and get to their first Super Bowl some day in the near future.
Iā€™d like to see the Lions actually win a playoff game. Baby steps. šŸ¦

I was impressed with their effort today, despite a couple of mishaps that were so typical Lions. (The mishaps Iā€™m thinking of were: 1) the Lions touchdown that was overturned on review, followed by a fumble on the very next play, and 2) the fumble at the goal line that the Chiefs returned for a TD.)

Since the Steelers are out at this point, Iā€™m really enjoying watching the Chiefs, Bears, Bills, and Lions. It would be really nice to see some different teams in the SB this year.

Scorigami is the art of achieving a final score that has never happened in NFL history.

There were TWO Scorigami this Sunday:

Browns over the Ravens 40-25
Buccaneers over the Rams 55-40

Further explained in this video from 2016:

The Turnpike Bowl!

I am not looking forward to this game tonight. First, the Steelers stink. But mostly because Iā€™m afraid they are going to replay Ryan Shazier getting hurt. I donā€™t want to see that ever again. I was literally up all night when it happened. It was horrible.

In other news, the League finally took action against Vontaze Burfict and suspended him for the season. Good riddance. He should have been out of the League a long time ago.

Much thanks to The Saints for beating Dallas and getting the Eagles back in NFC East contention.

I mostly saw the end when he was cheering on from the sidelines. Even though they didnā€™t score a touchdown Bridgewater played well enough and limited errors enough to win the game.

So the Steelers looked really good, but it was against the Bengals so I take it with a huge grain of salt.

I think Dalton left a couple of permanent marks on the turf. šŸ™‚

Like a MCU blockbuster, do NOT leave the theater just because the credits start rolling! šŸ˜‚

That hit on Mason Rudolph was scary! Latest reports are that he was released from the hospital. Aside from how bad the it was, I just wanted to give JuJu Smith Schuster a hug. Both after the fumble (which was not his fault, it was just perfectly punched out of his hands) but his reaction to Mason getting hurt, he was really broken up.

And i donā€™t at all get the roughing the passer call on Adeniyi. Honestly, it seems like the rules change from game to game and team to team. Iā€™ve been watching football since I was about 5, and Iā€™m thoroughly confused lately. There is no consistency.

I donā€™t care for the Chiefs, but iā€™m glad theyā€™re the late game tonight because I really enjoy watching Patrick Mahomes.

That was a scary hit! I hope he will be okay.

It almost seemed like Tomlin and Harbaugh laid down the law to their respective teams after that: ā€œThis is the last quarterback ā€“ No One touches him!ā€
If Hodges had got hurt the Steelers probably would have had to suit up and activate Ryan Shazier. šŸ¤Æ

Theyā€™d have to run down to Giant Eagle and tell Tommy Maddox he needs to do this (I stole that from Pittsburgh Dad). šŸ¤£

The cart stalled! The players association and league are looking into it. It might have been ā€œoperator errorā€.

The Dolphins had a bye week this weekend. I heard that Las Vegas casinos had the Bye Week favored by a field goal. šŸ˜€

I feel so much better now that the Browns got pummeled last night. Mayfield is most overrated QB in the league right now. He played like garbage last night!

And really, the whole AFC North is a race to the bottom.
